Parker-Binns Vineyard
After spending twenty-five years in the food and beverage industry on the Jersey Shore, we headed to South Florida where we purchased raw land, north of the Everglades, just east of the Great Cypress Swamp. After months of clearing jungle-like conditions, we planted a tree farm and established a plant nursery.

After twenty years of a very successful business, the Government approached us to acquire the land for a project to restore and save the Everglades. The timing was right, it was a good reason to sell, and we thought we could retire! Grapes have been grown in the Tryon region of North Carolina since the mid 1860's and were famous throughout the majority of the 1900's.
Services
After only a couple of years of retirement, we were bored and needed inspiration. With our background in the food and beverage industry, we decided that we wanted to be part of the emerging East Coast wine industry. We searched up and down the region and finally found what we felt was the perfect parcel, 10 acres in the Tryon Foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
We often get asked about local resources for people that wish to lodge in the area around the vineyard. We are located in a rural area but there are several nice properties and resources available to support those who want to stay in the area. Tryon Rentals (828-536-0948) - Located less than one mile from the Tryon International Equestrian Center.
The Tryon Grape has been experiencing somewhat of a renaissance with the rebirth of vineyards and wineries in the Tryon region. While our wines are our own effort, they do stand on the shoulders of this proud Western North Carolina history. We think you will enjoy them!. Partially fermented and aged sur lie, enjoy the bold and bright peach and pineapple aromas of this crisp and lively wine.
The Burger Barn is our onsite kitchen with a simple menu of tasty food options to go with your favorite Parker-Binns wine. You can order from the menu Thursday through Sunday. All burgers are made with local Caitlyn Farms 100% certified grass-fed Angus beef, served with your choice of Jimmy Parker fried potatoes or pasta salad.
Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, our vineyard greets you with spectacular mountain views that will create a magical setting for any wedding day. For your reception, you will find our Chardonnay Room matches beautifully crafted architecture with a rustic-inspired setting. A magnificent backdrop for any event, plus Award-Winning wine to accompany it!

Tony and I have been coming to Parker Binns for at least 10 yrs. We have been to both the lower location and now the barn. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, the wine is wonderful, the service is always spot on. The owners and their family always make you welcomed, the food is excellent, the view is to die for, and they always have different and wonderful musicians. We have been to 35 of the 100 winery’s in NC BUT
Parker Binns is home for us and they treat our little Peaches like royalty.. There is always something special going on, come down to visit.

We love Parker Binns! The wine is awesome; however be prepared to wait. We have been there twice and both times it has been super crowded with little wait staff. The wine is worth the wait. Hopefully they can find help soon ❤️

Very picturesque vineyard - from the goats and alpaca on the front porch to the wide expanse of vineyards, this would be an ideal wedding destination. The wine was good - we really enjoyed the chardonnay. The server was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. My only suggestion would be to offer better pours on the flight of wines. They were very skimpy! But the views were amazing and I would go back.

My husband and I own a winery and rarely get to visit other wineries these days. We are sooo happy we got to visit and this is now going to be a destination for us! The wines were superb but not only that, the atmosphere was exactly what we needed and what we strive for at our own winery. Amazing service, superb atmosphere, warm staff, delicious pizza along with other menu items, and a spectacular view of the vineyards! We couldn’t have chosen a more suitable place to visit on our day off!

Parker-Binns Vineyard is quite an amazing place to visit. The site is beautiful. On a nice day you can overlook the vineyard and see the mountains beyond. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, both with fans and a fireplace/fire-pits. On any given day, good weather or poor weather, you can expect a staff that is passionate about wine and eager to pour you a glass of wine. The wines are exceptional, and could be the best in North Carolina. They also have fresh burgers from cows that are raised 2 miles down the road. When you combine all of this with extremely reasonable prices, this place

I'll start by saying the experience at Parker-Binns is 5+
Well worth the 45min drive from Asheville.
The family that runs the operation is top notch. Mom, dad, daughter and grandson.
The 70+ mom sets a good tone for customer service, and hard work. The rest of the family and staff follow suit to genuinely care for their customers. The father is in his 80s and still actively working the farm. The family has a love for each other that is evident to outsiders.
The food was fantastic. Burgers made fresh from beef from the farm next to the winery. We happened to be there on a day a friend of the
