Construction and carpentry are in my blood. My work ethic comes from my father, who owned flooring business and my attention to the aesthetic details from my mother, an interior designer. I I started working with my dad in high school helping with carpet installation. I also ran my own business, providing gardening and landscaping for local families.
Shop class was one of my favorites in high school and I almost went to a technical college. Instead I got my degree in hotel and restaurant management and worked in restaurants for a while. Eventually I came back to carpentry. I love it. For several years I worked for other people in construction, and learned everything I could.

There is hardly a builder, contractor, or subcontractor in existence who does not stand behind their work. But to what extent? A contractor would rarely have a problem taking care of a reasonable punch list after the project's completion and many will provide up to a single year to fix mistakes. Then you are on your own.

Works by JD completely renovated my basement, transforming it into a truly useful and beautiful space. They were a pleasure to work with - professional, friendly, knowledgeable and highly skilled. I was most impressed with the high level of communication they maintained throughout the process. Everything was clearly explained, changes were documented, and phone calls were returned quickly. I have met with Jesse DeBenedictis on several occasions and found him to be incredibly genuine, honest, and very knowledgeable. He is extremely passionate, thorough and a great communicator, which is hard to find in a contractor! I would not hesitate to recommend Jesse to friends or family in need of a home renovation!!
