Services
JJWelch Construction, established in 1852 is a seven-generation construction manager/builder. The basis of our success is the importance of open communication and flexibility on every project we undertake. Whether we are involved during the initial pre-construction or later in the process, our primary goal is to exceed our clients' goals and expectations while preserving the architect's design concept.
All of our team members understand the challenges of working in and around occupied space. Our proven track record meeting tight deadlines, budgets and keeping jobsites organized and safe is what we do best. Whether your project is small or large rest assured it will get our full attention. Communication and collaboration are the key ingredients to successful projects.
In 1962, JJ Welch constructed a 15,500 SF academic building for our school - The Children's Center for Communication - Beverly School for the Deaf. At the time, the post-modern building was a national showcase and the renowned architect was Hugh Stebbins (Citibank building among others). That classroom building is still in use today.

We have worked with the JJ Welch on several projects where we installed resinous flooring and completed stain & polish for concrete flooring projects. We have always found everyone within the organization to be professional, and responsive to their customers and subcontractors within a timely manner. We just completed a huge build-out of a new office space in Salem. From the beginning Justin and his team over at JJ Welch were so easy to work with! From quick and clear communication, to answering any questions we might have, JJ Welch made this build-out go as smoothly as possible! they always made us feel well taken care of and never ignored. Our Restaurant group has done many builds and Reno's over the years. We have found Justin and his crew to be without peer. When you combine the quality along with the communication and flexibility the results are outstanding. They stand by and support their work. We are so incredibly thrilled with the work Justin and his crew completed on our kitchen and bathroom in our condo in Back Bay. Both Justin and Joel led us through every step and were extremely communicative, professional, clean, and efficient. There was no such thing as an obstacle for these guys - they just got the work done no matter what it took. The newly renovated space is absolutely beautiful and I would very highly recommend working with Justin. We will definitely use them again for future projects!

Justin and his crew (lead by Joel) were wonderful to work with. From start to finish they were, attentive, responsive and upfront with pricing. None of this wavered as the project continued. Construction is not my expertise. When I voiced concerns or asked for a more detailed explication about a piece of the overall project, the were patience and respectful. As bumps in the project arose (let's be real, they always do - especially if you are woking with an old structure) - the team was creative and resourceful in finding solutions. I have worked with JJ Welch on a number of projects now, from site work to tenant fit ups and landlord work in the retail/commercial world. Mike, Justin, Joel,actually everyone in their firm has been honest, responsive and incredibly thorough. I have recommended them for a number of jobs which they were awarded and those clients have been equally as impressed. Can't say enough good things about these guys.
