Growing up in West Sacramento, Dr. Qais Wahidi always wanted to be a doctor. He was delighted to find out that he was going to University of the Pacific for his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry. After obtaining his degree from UOP, he wanted to continue toward his goal and went to Chicago for his masters in physiology.
I am so happy to have Dr. Wahidi as my physician. He always takes the time to listen to me and treat my concerns. He is thorough, knowledgeable and kind. You could not ask for a better Doctor. His staff are friendly and helpful and will get you in to see the Dr. as soon as possible. You will enjoy the clean offices and the comfortable environment.
We are a primary care provider for patients in the Folsom, California area. Whenever a patient comes into our practice, it is our goal to provide friendly and professional service. Primary care involves the day-to-day health care services. We are your go-to provider for continuing health care, and we can recommend and coordinate with specialists in the area, should you need one.
Internal Medicine encompasses a very wide range of topics. It is medicine for patients who are 16-years-old or older, and covers all the ailments that adults can be present with. Being able to provide evidence-based medicine is both a challenge and a privilege. I enjoy being able to talk to patients about their disease and remedies.

The staff at Dr. Wahidi's office are the most unhelpful I have ever encountered. They will not send a prescription unless you attend the office. "We don't get paid unless you come in." After the 1st visit the Dr. exhibited a similar attitude of moving on quickly to the next revenue generating patient.

This has been my primary care Dr. since the previous Dr retired but I don't get sick often so I haven't been in to see him for some time. Got Covid and tried to get an appointment and the extremely rude staff refused to get me in and said they could get me an appointment a month later. A month. I tried to explain that I just needed a dr note to extend my days off for work but they didn't care. Obviously this dr cares only about taking your money and not quality of care. I can only address Dr. Wahidi and his staff since he took over Roy Greenberg's practice-that said, I appreciate his concern for both my husband and myself as well as the community. His approach has been spot on as I would prefer to have someone who wants to SOLVE the issue instead of simply treat the symptoms.

Can't speak any more highly about Dr. Wahidi and his office. The practice went from 4 stars to 5 stars with improvement of the online messaging system. The place is well run with a wonderful staff, it's much cleaner and more efficient than what I experienced with the previous practice in the same location, and Dr. Wahidi is excellent! And I'm a tough critic! Keep up the good work on Creekside, folks!

So far so GREAT with having Dr. Wahidi as our GP. He's terrific and really knows his stuff. Our style of humor matches. Excellent staff, much nicer and cleaner interior, better punctuality ... big improvement from the previous leadership. Communication could be a tad better -- wish responses to online questions using the tool were more thorough (it seems they rush things) -- but with improvement in that area, I'll give a full five stars.

Dr. Wahidi is wonderful and a very knowledgeable physician, and he is extremely caring! He was by my side the entire time my mom was gravely ill and in the hospital, and was always there for me and my family! I have had the pure pleasure of having Dr. Wahidi as my primary care physician since my previous Dr retired. He has gone way above & beyond in providing the most excellent, compassionate, & through care. He gives you all the time you need, answers every question with explanations you're able to understand. He is one of the very best doctors I've seen. I will definitely continue to see Dr. Wahidi forever. The office staff are also awesome & I look forward to seeing their friendly faces! We have been patients of Dr. Wahidi for about 18 months (since we moved back to the area) and have the best care from him of any doctors we have seen in our last 50 years... He takes time to explain the treatments and causes of our ailments and refers us to excellent specialists. He was born in West Sacramento and was previously a "Hospitalist" at Methodist hospital in South Sacramento before opening his private practice last year. We highly recommend him. After having an unhelpful primary care doctor that deteriorated over 10 years, Dr. Wahidi immediately helped address my chronic issues. After years of growing up with great doctors, things have really slipped, and Dr. Wahidi is a throwback, with traits like compassion, professionalism, and attentiveness. He also explains the issues, symptoms, and medications in detail, and it's always a learning experience. When you have the tools and expertise to address your medical problems, you're a happy camper!

I had a very difficult time finding a doctor for my terminally ill father that could manage his pain. A lot of the primary care doctors aren't knowledgeable in the area (found out the hard way). I'm so beyond grateful that we found Dr. Wahidi. He not only had no problem getting his pain under control, but was really amazing and empathetic through the whole process of helping my dad through his illness. I have had so many physicians involved with his illness that I am very aware of how hard it is to find a good doctor and it was such a blessing to finally find Dr. Wahidi.
