Services
Dr. Loren Amsell is a New Jersey and Pennsylvania Licensed Psychologist, who received her doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Amsell has extensive experience working with intellectually and developmentally disabled and/or mentally ill youth and adults as well as those who present with a host of maladaptive or concerning behaviors.
Our Day Habilitation Program features participation in small group education and boutique habilitation services, including training modules that are age-appropriate and reflective of individuals' rights and choices. Day Habilitation participants will be assisted in the acquisition of skills and experiences needed to participate in the community.
The Center for Psychological Assessment and Treatment (CPAT) is a quality provider of community-based day habilitation supports and services to individuals with 1/DD. CPAT offers a unique, evidence-based perspective to day habilitation that is led by CEO and Clinical Executive Director Loren B. Amsell, Ph.
CPAT offers the following below-listed youth services that can be offered at our office and, when indicated, can be provided at remote locations such as residential treatment facilities, detention facilities, the home, referral offices, and other locations as mutually agreed. Children who have been exposed to childhood sexual abuse, physical abuse and neglect, trauma, and domestic violence; issues of parenting and bonding.
