More than just glasses and contact lenses! At Eyes On Main, we take pride in our comprehensive vision and eye health evaluations. Through state-of-the art computerized testing, pretesting by our c medical assistants, and careful examination by our doctors, we assess our patient s visual system and determine what type of visual correction is best recommended for each individual patient.
Dr. Christine (Martinson) Zeifert is a NBEO board certified optometrist who graduated cum laude from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2010, and is a member of Beta Sigma Kappa and Tomb & Key Honor societies. She received her bachelor of arts in biology from Augustana College in 2006.
She is a member of the Illinois Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, College of Optometrists in Visual Development, and is also a provider for the InfantSEE program.InfantSEE is a program that provides a comprehensive eye exam to any child up to one year of age at no cost, in order to promote eye heath and ensure proper eye development.

Stephania earns no stars. I had new lenses installed in 2 existing frames after an exam. My wife also had an exam and purchased a pair of glasses around the same time. I was told when I picked up my glasses that for the next year I could come in and have them adjusted if they didn't fit properly. 2 months after I had the new lenses I called to verify I could have them adjusted and was told to just come in. I drove from downtown Chicago only to be told by Stephania that these glasses were old. She ran them under water in the

The doctor and all of the staff are so welcoming, helpful and knowledgable. We always feel well taken care of when we go there. They try to make sure the glasses are as affordable as possible, using your insurance and any other possible discounts. We have been very happy with both the service and the products we have gotten from Zeifert.

First time here and it was a top notch experience. Everyone is exceedingly nice and helpful, and Dr. Zeifert is awesome. The exam was quick but in an efficient way, and she explained everything really well.
I didn’t need frames, but the selection looked good and there were a lot of really cool options.

Dr. Zeifert has exceptional bedside manner. I have a family history of eye disease and she gave very thorough exams and walked me through preventative options. She is kind, conversational, and generous with her time. Also, they have an impeccable selection of fashionable glasses and their staff is always incredibly fun and helpful in glasses selection. I am a patient for life!!

Zeifert has been at the Renaissance place for several years and I have always admired them from the outside. The storefront looks lovely and inviting. We finally had an opportunity to visit Zeifert when my husband decided to get a new pair of glasses.
There was no need for an eye exam so we only experienced the store portion. It is as lovely inside as outside. Clean and organized.

Dr. Zeifert and her entire staff are wonderful. The appointment process was easy and efficient. Dr. Zeifert is just a rare jewel. She was patient, attentive and listened to all of my concerns. Dr. Zeifert was so patient and informative about my left hypertropia/Strabismus. Her explaination and attention to detail in explaining my options with eye therapy vs, surgery make so much sense. The surgeon I went to see was not even close to explaining my situation in a simple way like Dr. Ziefert. It made sense and helped me make the right decision for myself. After my kids' eye doctor retired without notice, I needed to find another eye doctor quickly. A friend recommended Ziefert Eye Care. My son wanted to get contact lenses so we made an appointment. I was really impressed with the staff, their professionalism and their efficiency. My examination with Dr. Christine Zeifert, was very interactive. She is very knowledgeable, professional, and provides you with several options. It's great to see this type of service and attention.
