Craig and Allison Andresen are board certified prosthodontic dental specialists serving Reno, Sparks and Northern Nevada. Dr. Craig is a seventh generation Nevadan who was born and raised in Reno. He attended Reno High School and the University of Nevada, Reno.
He received his DDS degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, then continued on to a three year advanced prosthodontic post-graduate residency program at the West Los Angeles Veterans Administration.He then went on to UCLA where he completed a fellowship in the sub-specialty of maxillofacial prosthetics.

A prosthodontist is a dentist who has undergone an additional three years of intensive training after dental school to specialize in the restoration and replacement of missing teeth and other structures of the mouth. Prosthodontists are experts in dental rehabilitation and have extensive knowledge in procedures for treating diverse and complex conditions to restore function and esthetics.
Nasoalveolar molding (NAM) is a non-surgical procedure used to shape your baby's gums, lips, and nose prior to surgical repair of the cleft lip and palate. This helps lessen the size of the cleft and improve the position of the nose and lips for a better surgical and esthetic result. A better outcome with the initial surgeries often means fewer surgeries and other procedures later in childhood.

This place is the best!! I've been to many dentists and they have the most skilled , honest and friendly doctors and staff. My work as the operator of a sailboat that acts as a floating school for troubled teen boys keeps me on the move. But once I found this place, I always make it a point to coordinate a stop through Reno for my dental care as they are the most skilled and nicest dentists/prosthodontists I've ever had! My previous dentist would take it as a personal affront , for example, when I asked what materials he was using for my crown and why (as I know there are MANY options

Dr Andreson and her staff really went above and beyond for us. My son was visiting from California for oral surgery. He had a complication with an implant the day after and needed help before leaving town again. Dr Andreson's office got him and and very sensitively cared for him before he had to leave town again. I'm so grateful. Best office in town!

I went to Craig Anderson because the dentures I had didn't fit right or look good. I never knew dentures could look or feel this good. I am so happy I came here. And Dr. Craig is one of the nicest persons I've ever met. He takes the time to explain everything. If you're considering dentures, He's your guy. The quality compared to my last ones is amazing.

First of all I just moved here from south Florida, I went to Reno/Tahoe oral surgery (what a rip off) to have a consult for an implant ( which they cage me over $500 for a consultation. Anyway they made an appointment at the cosmetic dentist for me. So the next week I go to my consult at Andresen. Well low and behold their office was closed. They didn't have the courtesy to call me or anything. The lady at the drs in same building told me how rude that was. I was the 3rd patient that day that had come for an appointment,, So they are losing a lot of money. I would never recommend

My mouth was a mess due to tooth loss and breakdown of old dental work. Dr. Andresen and his team completely restored my smile with implants and a bridge. I've seen a lot of dentists over the years, and no experience has been better than this one. Dr. Andresen definitely raises the bar for excellency in dentistry. My smile has never looked better, and that alone has changed my outlook on life.

If there were an option for more than 5 stars, I would give it to Dr. Andresen and his crew. I went to him because my research told me that he could make the most of my insurance dollar, and they not only did that but turned out to be the best dentist I've ever seen...and I have been to many. Even his assistant Noel is a dentist himself!
My smile was in bad shape. Dr. Andresen gave me options, and he pointed out what would be predictable, long term, and sustainable. He provided me with implants, a bridge, and crowns that saved my smile.

Both Doctors and Staff are professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. Every procedure I've had was explained to me with every option available. I felt at ease and comfortable with the whole process from start to finish. I was even called after procedures to check and ensure my comfort level. Excited about my new dentist! Dr. Andresen & the staff were professional, courteous & what was lacking from my previous dentist 'smiling' ... going to the dentist is one of the hardest things we have to do, having a dentist and staff that understand that simple concept is oddly hard to find but I think I finally have!
