First, I contacted Jim through his website to request availability and pricing. He responded promptly and I scheduled an appointment.
Overall, our time with Jim was extremely professional, educational, and helpful. He showed up early before the realtor could let him inside the home and conducted inspections of the roof and exterior of the home. We arrived an hour after he was scheduled to begin and he was still working. While he did speak to us briefly, we wanted to leave him be so he could do his job. Jim has carried out a few Home Inspections for my Clients. Always on time, always accommodating. He shows up earlier so he can finish the exterior part of the Home Inspection and then he jumps in the interior aspect of it. He is very thorough and explains to you any findings as he goes. He is very assuring and does not try to freak you out. He will email you a Report right away once he is done with the Home Inspection: no waiting time. Pretty disappointed with the overall inspection of our home.
Jim and his wife (co-worker) performed the inspection on our home (built in 1979) this summer. They were very nice people but there was a lack of thoroughness throughout the entire inspection.
Don’t get me wrong if you want to know if a drain is slow or an outlet doesn’t work Jim and his wife are the inspectors you want.
My wife and I wanted to be present during the inspection process being it was the second time we even stepped foot on the property. We showed promptly on time and Jim was already complete with the inspection.

Jim did an inspection on a home for me, and he really couldn’t have been more helpful when it came to making my decision.
