I reserved a chalet, it flooded so they put me in a cabin. It was much smaller the bedroom like a coffin, love seat you sunk in and hurt your back. When I opened the door it stunk like 20 cats lived in it. Dirty, hair in my towel, hair in sink and shower. Beer bottle tops in kitchen area and coffee table had sticky ring marks and crumbs on it. The entire cabin was dingy and I wanted to leave. Worst experience! The place in general is old and needs to be renovated. Stay anywhere else

This is a charmer with warts and all. Good stuff: quick and easy check-in, quaint and quite welcoming, and a quick walk into town. Not so good stuff: outdated rooms, trash left in the trash bin, leaky shower, sofa bed sheets were delivered upon request but a blanket was not provided. Cold night for our son! With low expectations this is a good deal.

We booked a cabin, because we wanted a Kitchen in order to cook and have dinner. But when we arrived there was absolutely nothing. No pans and pots, no places, no glasses, no silverware. I had to fight my way to get some. And I had to go and buy them myself! We are staying one week, and nobody comes to clean the room, after4 days nobody had changed both bathroom towels, I had to go and asked for some clean ones. Then we run out of toilet paper, and we had to go to the reception to get some. The
room was dirty when we arrived, and when I complained, I was told, sorry but the cleaning ladies don

Love. It is adorable. It is old folks. The rooms have nice beds, they are clean. It is walking distance to the cute bits of Nevada City. Yes, things are closed there, but it is still a beautiful property. It has a trail, old train equipment in a huge flowered field, a campground with walking paths, and cool people everywhere.
