Although radon is a natural occurring gas in our environment. It is also the second leading cause of lung cancer deaths in the U.S., according to the surgeon general. Nearly one out of every 15 homes is estimated to have elevated radon levels. Molds have the potential to cause health problems. Molds produce allergens (substances that can cause allergic reactions), irritants, and in some cases, potentially toxic substances (mycotoxins).
