In 2005, an analysis by the Transportation Research Board revealed that nearly four million Americans miss or delay medical care each year because they lack transportation. While non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) and non-emergency transportation (NET) services account for under 1% of healthcare spending, consistent transportation access to healthcare vastly enhances the health outcomes of members and leads to dramatic cost savings.
As America's aging population continues to grow, more elderly individuals-as well as those with mental illness, intellectual or developmental disabilities, and/or physical disabilities-are choosing to forgo care in nursing homes, hospitals, and other institutions in favor of receiving medical care and support in their own homes.
As the healthcare landscape continues to evolve, MTM knows that health plans have two overarching goals: improve healthcare outcomes and reduce overall medical spending. The customer service is good, my would be driver was respectful but they gave her my case around the same time I was supposed to be at the appointment. Luckily my dad's car was available so I was able to make it.
I had a bad feeling about this place when I first called. :/

I was talking to Taylor to set up transportation to get 2 injections in my back.he referred me to RTC and they said they would mail me a application for me to fill out and return and then went back to MTM Chat and Cara told me I can't have a passenger which is required by surgery center to be present in recovery room and for ride back home.THEY ARE WORTHLESS AN USELESS AND A WASTE OF TIME.I gues I will have to call and cancel my appointments.

This company was never GREAT but at least OK in a pinch but its gone to the dogs in the past 6 months or so, overscheduling drivers, lying about eta, failing to provide a driver at all, refusing to honor any preference for a regular driver, calling the wrong number to make the confirmation, being generally rude and pissy and full of themselves on the phone as if you were supposed to be feeling beholden, and now hitting rock bottom refusing to book transportation for clients without some sort of disabilities review by the RTC to determine wether they reckon your fit enough to be pitched onto a bus

This company is terrible. For almost all 2020 and beginning of 2021 my client was able to have me with her for her rides and all of sudden when I call to make an appointment they say it's not allowed. They made us have to get a doctor form to allow her to have someone with her for assistance. Then refused to pay for a ride to a dental appointment, claiming it doesn't count as medical. This company needs a lot of improvement if that's even achievable by them. So disappointed in how this company functions

Was listening to one of their agents named Carlos talked to a lady who needed to schedule a ride to get her second dose of the vaccine yesterday. They should not be in business given how condescending and rude their agent was to her. He accused her of trying to get a walk-in (not his place) then again accused her of lying when she said the location was at Encore hotel (again not his place). I just found out today that the driver never called and she nearly missed her appointment for the second dose.

Slum service that has no standards. Customer service is non existant. Disregard for their clientele. MTM ONLY cares about the money. Not once but TWICE, my Uncle had a scheduled pickup and MTM did not call or knock on his door to take him to his Dialysis appointment. They didn't even bother to wait. Unacceptable. He just got out of the hospital & he was ready on time. This company obviously only cares about the money. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE UNLESS IT IS YOUR VERY LAST OPTION! First scheduled transportation, but Ride never showed up!
I called to schedule a ride for our appointment at 9am. Scheduled pick up was at 8:30am. I waited outside the house at 8:20am because I didn’t want to miss the ride. At 8:45am the ride wasn’t still there so I called the office (where’s my ride). I was told the ride is running late and should be there within 15mins. 9:20am came and still no ride!!!! I called again and the scheduler couldn’t give me answer as to where the ride was. I missed my appointment that I scheduled 2 months ago! You had no idea how important it is for me to

I would give 0 if I could. I take my special needs daughter to 3 different therapies and to get reimbursed for all these trips is an absolute nightmare. They deny reimbursement for any little reason plus they make up stories, saying I called and cancelled all the trips when I never called them at all. They verify if there was ever a phone call from me and of course, they are not able to find any calls because I never called! Then once you appeal, they will never pay. I have never gotten paid from all the trips that I appealed. they always say denial is upheld. So what is the point?

Every week 3 time power week I'm calling to setup transportation for my mom to ride to and from dialyses center.
In mots got very polite and experience people but sometimes its simply terrible. Mom rides with PCA on wheelchair and CS cant find time for ride simply because they doesn't know how to use reservation system. I'll take me forever on phone and get this supervisor not even to fix problem. Horrible company with inexperience staff and management who doesn't care at all.

I'm very thankful for the MTM program. When I 1st came here, it was during the transition so it seemed pretty hectic, but now things run really smoothly.
I have to give a lot of credit to Tina, the front desk lady. She is very patient, professional, very kind and understanding. She has a very difficult job.
