Services
Onsite hemodialysis at Lake Pointe Rehabilitation and Nursing comfortably and conveniently avoids hours of transportation and helps keep vital services coordinated for better patient care. Dialysis is a process of purifying the blood of a person whose kidneys are not working normally. During hemodialysis, blood passes from the patient's body to the dialysis machine through sterile tubing and into a filter, called a dialysis membrane.
Providing dignified and tender loving care for children and adolescents with long-term medical needs. Lake Pointe Rehabilitation and Nursing's warm and welcoming atmosphere combines specialized therapeutic medical and nursing care with a diverse array of activities designed to maintain each child's abilities and encourage their maximum potential.
Adjusting to life with respiratory challenges or a ventilator can seem overwhelming, but understanding the available resources makes living with a ventilator manageable. We understand the hardships associated with mechanical ventilator support. Your loved one may feel frustrated from the limitations he or she faces, such as not being able to speak or eat.

Honestly if it wasn't for Robin there would be no stars. From the lack of decency to the pure neglect my mother endured during her brief stay here. She had a trache and needed dialysis 5 days a week. I can't tell you the numerous videos I have of people mistreating her. She was scared of one the nurses. I told her if she came in to call or Facebook chat me. The fact that my mother had a bed Sore so bad in her groin that she bled to death. So many questions left unanswered. To whoever stole my mother's money as she died. God will take care of you.

My brother was just admitted to this place for physical therapy after an extended hospital stay. Staff was not prepared for him. Bathroom was filthy. He waited 20 minutes for a bedpan. They didn't know he had hip surgery. They didn't know anything about him. The R.N. was very nice, but she was passing meds, and was too busy to read his file. Four days later, they aren't following his renal, diabetic diet. He's eating a lot of pasta and no vegetables. Four days, four different people, and four promises, no one has followed through.

Extremely understaffed. Patients are not given the proper care. They go days without getting bathed. They have to sit for hours in their wheelchairs because no one will take the time to lay them back down. When a patient calls for help, they are ignored, sometimes for hours. This is absolutely not acceptable and if this continues, the place should be shut down.
