Services
Tobie is a Pilates Method Alliance and Power Pilates Certified Instructor. In addition to 600+ hours of comprehensive training through Power Pilates, Tobie has studied with internationally renowned Pilates educators, including several of the Pilates First-Generation Teachers.

With 100+ hours of Continuing Education in such areas as kinesiology, nutrition, barre and Pilates, Tobie is passionate about making a difference in the lives of her clients, her instructors and the community.
The term "Pilates" has spread to the mainstream as it is proven to reshape and tone the body without causing stress and imbalance. The movement is rhythmic, fluid and focused to build greater strength, flexibility and endurance. It is layered and structured as a system that requires progressive learning and mastery.

She requires that you execute with good technique to get the most out of each session. It really is about the body's core. We love beginners, and we've got your completely covered! There are lots of things to do and remember during your first class, and your coordination and breathing might feel strange but it wont always feel like this. I just tried this for the first time and had a great experience. I'm a long-time pilates worker-outer and this was new and fun. Melissa (instructor) was upbeat but not too perky and obviously an experienced, confident instructor. I loved the addition of glide boards for a cardio component to the otherwise strength-based program. Clean, friendly studio also. Not pretentious nor exclusive.

I've been attending Tobie's Beyond Barre classes for almost three years and absolutely LOVE the entire experience. Tobie is such a knowledgeable, friendly instructor and the new studio is a peaceful, inviting space for every workout. The barre workouts are a total-body-conditioning experience and I have discovered muscles I thought I lost after high school! Thank you, Tobie!

The Beyond Barre class has all of the benefits of cardio, barre and weights in one hour! People are fun and the instructors are knowledgeable. Love this place!
