The school need better drug policies. If kid got caught with some illegal drugs, investigate him, call police, then if the kid is truly one who uses or sells drugs Expel him immediately. Don't give him 5 day suspension. Some of the kids in this school needs rehab not regular school. Cant blame parents or teachers because all of them are doing their jobs, but unfortunately many kids are messed up.
The good thing is that school has some great sport programs and the education is of a good quality. Most of the teachers are preparing kids for colleges and Unevers.
