As independent Professional Insurance Agents, PIA's members generally represent not one, but multiple insurance companies. This enables them to provide their local customers, both individuals and small to mid-size businesses, with a choice of coverages to meet their unique insurance needs. Michigan PIA is dedicated to providing a host of networking and advocacy events for members across the Great Lakes State. All events aim to provide value to the community. Our members are dedicated to finding and selling comprehensive insurance products and services to Michigan residents and businesses.
A new scholarship fund has been created to promote the education of students who are pursuing careers in insurance related fields. This new fund has been established by the Michigan Association of Professional Insurance Agents (MIPIA). It is a permanent, endowed fund which will leave a legacy to assist students who are pursuing the insurance field as their career path.
