My hope is that this website will give you a better understanding of how I work and what services I provide. I invite you to call me at 512-569-0506 or email me at rhea@pledgertherapy.com if you have any questions or if you are considering therapy with me.

I am an experienced individual, relationship, and group therapist, having provided therapy at various settings, such as Waterloo Counseling Center, the University of Texas Counseling and Mental Health Center, and Austin Recovery Center.I have been in private practice since 2009. I have been dedicated to my own professional and personal growth, becoming a member of several ongoing consultation and training groups since 2008.
In my years of practicing psychotherapy, I have met with people who are seeking help with a wide variety of concerns. Most of them want help with their relationships in some way, a lot of them want help with stress or worry, and some want help with depression, managing anger, or how to get unstuck.
Do you want to find a loving partner, strengthen your current relationship or work through barriers to communication? People have sought relationship therapy with me to learn how to effectively communicate, to learn more about what may be getting in the way of you getting closer, and to learn how to express your feelings to one another in a healthy way.
Group therapy changes lives! Are you struggling with your interpersonal relationships? Are you unable to form close relationships or are you dissatisfied with the quality of your current relationship? When combined with individual therapy, you will deepen your understanding of yourself and your relationships.
Do you struggle with self-critical thoughts, low self-worth, a constant heaviness, or perhaps sleeping too much or too little? Feeling depressed can develop from having angry thoughts and feelings and directing them toward yourself. In long-term psychotherapy, you will learn how to freely express your entire range of emotions outwardly instead of inward.

Absolute quack. Only go to him if you don't want proper treatment. Forget getting proper help if you have SI and are trying to open up. He will appear absolutely uninterested, play a guided meditation, and leave the room.
