In 2003, Furniture Clinic & Restoration Studios relocated from New York City to Williamsburg Virginia, offering high quality furniture refinishing and restorations. The shop was built with this objective in mind, including a professional, full-size, spray booth and wood working facilities.
The business itself is located adjacent to "New Town" on Ironbound Road, convenient to all neighborhoods. The original owner, Ronald Ricca, gracefully retired and the ownership was transferred to European Craftsman, Adam Wolinski. In 1977, Adam graduated from Panstwowe Liceum Sztuk Lastycznych (School of Fine Arts) located in Zakopane, Poland with a degree in "Artistic Furniture".

I cannot praise the work done by Adam and his team enough. We had two Windsor chairs and an old drop leaf table restored. They are refinished perfectly. It is difficult to find such artisans in this day and time, whiich is why I was wanted to write this review. Well done!!!!!

Adam at the furniture clinic is excellent to work with. We had 4 antique Drexel Heritage chairs we wanted reupholstered. We had also purchase 4 unfinished Drexel Heritage chairs to be stained to match the existing 4 and upholstered. We were told by 3 different people the chairs would be impossible to replicate because of the different wood type on the new chairs and that our ONLY option to make all 8 match would be painting them black. We called Adam. Adam picked them up within the hour, gave us his opinion and laid out all our options WITH prices so we could make an informed decision. He stripped

Adam did an outstanding job on our Cobra Chair. It was in need of sanding and painting, but additionally needed some fine repairs. It did not sit level and the bottom legs scratched the floor. Adam came up with an ingenious plan, using rubber washers. No scratching! The original chair looks like new, only better. Thank you, Adam!

My husband and I took a chair and ottoman that was from the late 1800's and an heirloom of my great grandfathers, to a master of his work, Adam Wolinski, of Furniture Clinic of Williamsburg. The chair was in need of total restoration. Adam took this old chair and brought back the beauty it once exhibited.

Adam repaired my hutch doors that were no long able to open (large sliding glass doors) He came to our home, was immediately able to detect the problem and took the doors back to his shop. Within a few days he brought them back and the hutch is now usable! He is an excellent craftsman and I highly recommend him!! He is friendly, competent, and reasonably priced. I am so very happy that he was the first person I contacted to do this repair!
