Please really think about going somewhere else, one the exam was a joke, I felt like I was bothering them for even being there and asking questions. I went back three times and still have the problem today. They charged my insurance over 1 year after the visits, I really feel like something shaddy is going on. As I looked at what they charged my insurance and it was like 7 items for a visit that wasn't even 10mins long, as well as not even seeing a DR , they just handed me off to a PA.

I was referred to garden city derm by our insurance co. we saw dr. newburger yesterday for my kids who i was unhappy with their prior derm. i have only great things to say about our experience! the office staff was very kind and greeted us upon our entry. the only neg was that they called me earlier that day asking for refferals even though they were submitted and faxed a wk prior.

we were taken into the room within 5 minutes and the nurse was very thorough and cleanly. we waiting minutes for dr. newburger to come in which at that time was very kind and listened to all my concerns. she suggested

After being under Ms. Munnie's care for about 9 months and about 3-4 laser treatments in I expressed to her that I was unhappy with the results of the laser treatment that she suggested I get for dark spots on my face. At that time with a look of confusion on her face I was advised by Ms. Munnie that I was being treated for redness and broken capillaries and not dark spots! This was very disheartening for me to hear considering that I already had 3-4 treatments which is painful and expensive! At that time she could not explain to me the cause of the confusion on her end. I contacted the office

So I just went to the office for the first time and I have to say, I should have read reviews first! Front staff was fine. Not overly friendly, but the young woman helping me check in was friendly enough. I'm giving office one star because I saw Dr. Singh and she was the most impatient and unpleasant person. Every time I asked her a follow up question, she shot me a look as if I were wasting her time. Keep in mind, she only spent about 5 minutes total in exam room with me. She never even introduced herself seeing how I was a new patient as EVERY new doctor I have ever seen has. She was unable

The worst. Do not. I repeat do not make an appointment here. Plenty of other practices around. Typical 1- 1/2 hour wait for the simplest procedures. I was here 3 times and I waited a minimum of 45-50 minutes each time. They overbook appointments so basically you're waiting on them which is aggravating. My third time I waited an hour in the lobby room and another 45 minutes in the patient room. Never again.

I would give this office zero stars if possible. They charge $300.00 ( that 300.00 is because their staff didn't care to check my insurance eligibility -any other office takes that into consideration) for an office visit just to have a medication refill. You also have to wait at least four weeks to get anyone to fill out a prior authorization. This has been the absolute worst experience I've ever had!!!!!!! Not to mention that $300.00 visit was a quick walk in the room , asked what I wanted refilled and called it a day . Purely unprofessional. Purely unorganized. Pure waste

Literally have been coming here for years and have been very patient with this office. EVERY SINGLE TIME I COME, it is at least a 30 min wait to see your derm. it is horrible , if you come before work you have to take at least 2 hours for a 5 min procedure. there is no sense of urgency whatsoever. i could understand if there was a waiting room filled with people but half the time there is only one or two people because i always make a.m. appointments. i could not imagine what its like after hours. this is really really an office that wastes your time 100 percent. i even warned them the last time

I have recently started coming here and from the very first day I found the staff to be wonderful. They are helpful and welcoming.
I especially adore Joy, who from the first day, always welcomed me with a warm friendly smile and a professional attitude. She actually makes my twice a week appointment bearable!!
THANKS JOY !!

Rude rude rude rude rude. The reviews for this place are 100 percent accurate. Do not waste your time coming. I have worked in the medical industry for 10 plus years and the lack of professionalism at the front desk made me walk out.

This is not like the Schweiger dermatology in NYC, I paid my co-pay then left. I will be contacting my insurance company. The moment I walked in was confrontational, and the receptionist Rosa inaccurately told me my insurance was inactive - then said oh never mind it works. Do not waste your time, the office is outdated, unhappy receptionists and horrible reviews

I can agree with the other reviewers, the front desk staff weren't too friendly and welcoming. Then I got in and saw a doc. He literally just looked at my face and prescribed me a medicine which I found I couldn't afford and got the alternative which I had already tried before. I asked for considerations on peels but they told me it'd take a few weeks to consider that option. so I got this bill, $450 for a consultation? that's a bit much! here I am months down the road, still with acne and scarring oh and a bill to pay for.

Still here...30 minutes in the waiting room, I figured I would write this review.

I stood at the front desk and no one greeted me...NO ONE. I saw a clip board where the patients sign in so I helped myself and wrote my name down. But before I could write my name down, the woman had to remove one of the other patients name off the list..... Still no greeting from any of the 3 women that are seated at the desk.... Didn't acknowledge me at all. Weird and disappointing. The only reason I am rating more than 1 star is because the doctor was very pleasant.

Pimples + dark spots = clear skin when you go to a good dermatology office.

Well at Garden City Dermatology Pimples + Dark Spots = A burn from a poorly done peel (YES!! A BURN) + frustration + no attempt at making amends + pimples + dark spots

Long story short if you're looking for a dermatology office that will actually help you Garden City Dermatology is NOT that place!
