For privately insured patients, upon request, we can provide the necessary information for you via a coded superbill to file a claim with your insurance company (there is a small charge to cover the physician's time).

Consents and ID (state-issued ID and insurance ID) must be sent via Klara at least two (2) business days prior to the visit. We will use video chat (similar to Skype or FaceTime) to review your medical history and look at your skin/ hair/ nail issue. Love her. Long wait to get an appointment but it’s clear why. She is the best. Spent more time with me in one visit than my last dermatologist in 3 visits combined. I don’t have extensive issues so that says a lot. She is knowledgeable, thorough and an attentive listener. Doesn’t just listen to respond with generic advice. I miss Dr Osei-Tutu, I used to go to her for chemical peels years ago when she was in NJ. She was attentive and sweet and really makes time for her patients. It's rather unfortunate i moved to another state(Massachusetts) which boasts of great Dr's but i have honestly not found a Derm as good as Dr Osei-Tutu

She is totally the best. She is knowledgable, compassionate, kind, a good listener and trustworthy. If she tells that you have to get a treatment believe her. I started going to her with acne problems and she immediately went to the root of the problem and then we ended up treating a hair condition. I miss her so much; she doesnt take my insurance any longer.

This woman and her team are really the real deal! The team is very kind, and respectful once you step foot into the establishment. Ms. Osei Tutu knows what she is doing and taking about. I scheduled my appt in September to see Dr. Achiamah. The Great Neck office is closer to me but the next available appt was in November so I decided to go to the Brooklyn office October 10th. My appt time was 12:45pm and I arrived 1:13pm. I took a cab to my appt, apologized for being late as I am coming another borough and there was traffic. I was told by the receptionist they are about to break for lunch and to come back at 4:45pm or reschedule my appt. I dont live in the area, what am I supposed to do for 3 hours? I was referred by another Dr who takes GHI. I called to make an appointment and provided the office with my insurance information to include my insurance number. When I arrived at the office i inadvertently gave the receptionist my Blue Cross Blue Shield card which is for HOSPITAL VISITS ONLY. I was informed I had a deductible of $125. I have had the most amazing experience going to Dr. Osei-Tutu. I have gone to two other dermatologists prior to Dr. Osei and neither one provided an accurate diagnosis. From the beginning Dr. Osei was very thorough in running tests to provide an accurate diagnosis. During each visit she is very informative and takes the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. After diagnosing me she put me on a treatment regimen that has worked wonders. My hair has grown in a way that it hasn't in years. I am so amazed by the results. I am still being treated by Dr. Osei and cannot wait to see my future

I had my first consultation and let me tell you, she is amazing. Took her time to explain what was happening and set some realistic goals. I waited for four years to finally get a appointment due to insurance issues but she's with the wait!! Just a genuine and humble human being with a sensitive and caring nature. I really love and respect Dr. Osei-Tutu and her passion for helping women of color restore their confidence. She's very patient, attentive, has excellent bedside manner and doesn't push you into any expensive services (in fact, her favorite recommendation is something free: TIME!).

I tried to schedule an appt for the very first time because I saw the reviews for this place; which were positive and i wanted to see what they could do for me.

I have to say i left a detailed message as to what i needed and the person that called me back started of the conversation very cold and clearly the way she was talking to me was as if she didn't know why I called. I asked the cost of the consultation for my hair and face because of a medical condition I have, she told me you can't book both appointments the same day with an attitude mind you

I love Dr.Osei TuTu. I went through two dermatologist due to their lack of compassion and office staff. I finally found someone who will listen and actually seem like she cares. I have recommended her to at least three of my friends. They all speak highly of her. We all see her for different reasons but receive the same wonderful treatment. The office staff is pretty good. I have been seeing Dr. Tutu for a couple of years in her Great Neck Office for several issues. Her office is very welcoming, clean and well decorated. She and her entire staff are always friendly.
I had a visit with her yesterday. I was called into the examination room within 2 mins of my appointment. Unfortunately I didn't have a babysitter for my kids so I brought them along. The assistant was accommodating by putting on cartoons for them to watch.
Dr. Tutu was very attentive to the issues I presented with and for that I am very grateful to have found her.

Dr. Osei-Tutu and her staff were all amazing. They have a messaging service that makes making an appt more like iMessaging a friend rather than calling an office.
Dr. Osei-Tutu was informative, she ironed out a plan, waited for and answered my questions and gave me explicit directions orally and on paper.

I love this place. I hate that it is so far away from me because living in NJ its quite the drive. But I like the practice so much I brave the Belt Pkwy anyways. They are very technically advanced as well and offer virtual visits/pictures and instant communication via Klara. Dr. Osei-Tutu has the best demeanor and makes you so comfortable. I concur with the other review about her finding the root cause first, as well as encourages the lesser of extremes before recommending the most extreme measures. I really appreciate and respect her ethic!!

My first visit to her was very good. So I decided to bring my teenage boy to see her. My son has flaring pimples all over his face. But the earliest time I got was a month away. Alright... but a week before the appt, I got an unexpected award ceremony to attend. I called and wanted to see if my son could see her at a later time. Best Doctor I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I found Dr. Osei Tutu through Yelp and after the reviews I decided to book an appointment right away. I have battled with acne forever! Great Doctor!! I change doctors pretty often, maybe because im picky, but I think i will stay with Dr. Osei-Tutu. Very knowledge, skilled, well mannered, and fair on price. Accepts HSA but probably all medical offices accept that. Office environment is amazing. Pretty new and well designed. Staff are kind. They do things electronically including prescriptions but can do hard copy prescriptions if you like. I went in for plantar warts and very satisfied with results so far. Two visits to date.
