Services
In 1998 Fitness Over 50 was established in Corvallis, Oregon based on the community's need for specialized exercise training and wellness programming for mature adults. Founder and President, Jason Wallis, M.S., is a graduate of Oregon State University via Pullman, Washington.

FOF became incorporated and celebrated its 10-year success story with the announcement of a relocation from its original 4,000 square foot studio to the 14,000 SF Willamette Wellness Center in Southwest Corvallis. In the fall of 2010 the doors opened and the Mid-Willamette Valley's premier mature adult wellness program springboarded toward its exciting new future.
Our most popular group exercise program, circuit training is an easy and never boring approach to mature adult exercise. This structured routine combines the four components of fitness (aerobics, strength, flexibility, balance) into one 45-minute class. Set up in a series of strategically-placed upper and lower body exercises, the circuit consists of machines, calisthenics, and free weights to achieve your total body workout.
Jason Wallis, M.S. is the Founder and Co-Owner of Fitness Over 50, INC. He arrived in Corvallis via Cougarville in Pullman, WA where he received a degree in Exercise Science in 1992. Jason then graduated from OSU with a Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology and a minor in Nutrition. He has been providing exercise training and wellness programming for mature adults in the Mid-Willamette Valley since 1994 and established FOF in 1998.

Great facility and staff. Payment thru UnitedHealth Medicare plan worked perfect.
Superb introduction to the equipment and my wife and I feel Covid safe. They have everything I need to support my mountain bike, climbing moving, hiking, whitewater and surf kayaking addiction as long as possible. Even like the music!

I work at a local memory care facility where the FOF team often stops by to work with some of our residents. Special shout out to Jason, Tyler and Judy. I haven't a doubt that the rest of your team is as caring, friendly and pleasant as you all are. You guys are the height of professionalism and fun! Much love to you all. Five stars for a job well done.

Joined FOF in 2010 after I was laid off. The staff has always been very helpful, easygoing and pleasant. During the constant rain of 2016/17 winter I spent time there just to get out of the house. Love the lounge/games/fireplace area. Super nice atmosphere. My only con is I sustained a permanent injury to my left rotator cuff area using the arm peddling machine the first month I was a member. Gotta be careful.
