Let me begin with the people were pleasant but after my pedicure extremely disappointed. I still have callous on my heals. My nailed began chipping within hours after I left. I left and I was told to leave too soon. No lotion put on my feet or hands after a pedicure and manicure. Asked to speak to owner and the receptionist told not here. I thought I may have found a new place but I was wiring. Definitely would not recommend

The place is beautiful but our pedis were not that great: they did not clean my nails that good. Once at home I saw some smear nail polish on the side of my toenails (I was too far to return). I paid extra for the service that includes a mimosa: not worth it. That cheap orange juice they use tasted awful. I'm definitely not coming back.

I am so disappointed in my experience here. This was the second time I'd visited but the first time I asked for the liquid/ UV gel. I even called and told them that I wanted the UV gel and made it clear at least three more times when I got to the salon and showed a reference picture. When I sat down with the tech she started prepping for an acrylic full set so I stopped her and said for the fourth time that I wanted the liquid gel not the acrylic. After I had said that she looked worried and confused but laughed. I didn't think much of it because the nail tips were the shape I wanted

Terrible experience. Won't go back. They should have stayed in the old location. The ambiance is lost. The staff are money hungry and are not as good. Maybe they think they are a high end spa now and can charge more I don't know but something has changed. They were Pushy and unfriendly. Sad because I loved the old place. One of the techs had the nerve to argue with my friend and refuse to fix a smudge on her toenail because it was closing time! Told her she did it so they weren't responsible. So disappointed in today's pedicure..$65 and left with cracked heels and callous' on both of my big toes! sad to think that my favorite place that i go to in sarasota and pay $27 does a much better job..and i wasted all this money. would not go back!
called and owner never called but spoke to Jenney and wanted me to go back in..leaving area tomorrow and would not credit me..calling Visa to dispute charge! she said it's illegal to use the blade so why don't they use a scrubby..all they do is put chemicals on your feet! they use a grater in Sarasota and my feet come out soft

Love the new space. Beautiful spa like environment. Love the music and that there are no tv's. I really enjoy that there is a front reception desk to check you in and staff to immediately greet you. I always request Simone. She does the best color acrylics and designs. She is very creative and really listens to you as you are describing what you want. She understands the length I want without me needing to constantly say "shorter please". I do a lot of typing at work and hate the clicking noise so she gets it and the length I need. She is super friendly and really great with helping

Over the course of 4 years, I have given Emerald several chances at redeeming their selves. It is unfortunate to say that I have never walked out of their salon satisfied. Very sweet people don't get me wrong, but my nails have never looked the way I want them to. No one is perfect but half of my nails from my appointment today are crooked. The butterfly on my right hand I chose, but my left hand is different. Sure, the same color, but it's literally not even the same butterfly? After they moved the salon over to the next unit I figured I would give it another try but just another disappointment

I'm giving 5 stars because the lady that did my nails, Nina , was absolutely amazing!!! She took her time with my nails and pedicure! Best pedicure I have experienced! The searing was awkward but I had a massage and I was in a corner by myself so wasn't right next to other during my pedicure! My pedicure was great!
Now the only negative is the front receptionist with the glasses seemed a little rude was frustrated and shouldn't behave the way she did in front of customers where we can overhear her frustration! A little pricier than most places but Nina was worth it!!!

Very disappointed, had been going to Emeralds for a long time, before finding a new salon we liked better. And definitely this will be the last of trying Emeralds again. Turned a mom, daughter & granddaughter's girls day into an expensive disappointment. My poor 7 year old granddaughter was so upset with her $50+ mani/pedi she cried. Not wanting to make her feel worse, I promised to take her some place else. If they couldn't do her nails because they are small, they should have said so. Poorly managed. The workers decide who they serve. The new owners have no input. So sorry Nancy sold this establishment. From when you walk in the door.....until you leave all you hear is communication in another language. Most of the workers don't speak or understand English. The pedicure area is very dark and uninviting. You sit on a hard bench with everyone else. You can't even put your purse on the bench with you because it might touch your neighbor who's getting a pedicure next to you on both sides. I also developed a fungus on both hands during the time I was going there.

So I actually just looked at my toes for the first time since I got a pedicure and.....not cool. The polish is bad (as you can see) & my cuticles are still on the side of my toes. I am leaving two stars because i enjoyed the complimentary snacks & beverage and nice customer service but I definitely am disappointed in the work.

This nail salon is terrible, they messed up my natural long nails. I went there to get and on my nails and they ruined them. The regular guy I would go to at this place I later found out was fired but did they tell me.... no. The receptionist told me someone else would do them and act like I want them to do them so they won't feel bad. They are terrible and are over priced. They also don't was there equipment and talk about you in there native language. The white receptionist is rude a racist and doesn't treat black people with respect at all.
