My wife saw her for a few sessions.

Not only did she bill us full price but she also was paid by Cigna. She claimed she did not have a contract with Cigna but was apparently not good at managing her own business and had never actually cancelled her old contract with Cigna. I spent hours on the phone with Cigna figuring this out.

Here's what happened : She provided us with a superbill as she told us she did not accept insurance. We submitted to CIGNA for partial reimbursement as even if she was out of network, our plan would pay us something back against the $140 per session she charged

We found Kyoko to help my mother who is Japanese. I needed help understanding her needs during my father's decline and eventual death so that so that I could make the best possible decisions in a complex relationship. I found Kyoko to be compassionate, patient and tremendously insightful. She has been able to negotiate broad generational and cultural differences and thus help me to provide the best care for my family. Now as my mother nears her departure, I once again reached out to Kyoko and am very appreciative of her guidance.

Am dumbfounded by this therapist. We seemed to be a good fit. Had been searching for a good therapist for quite some time. Was referred to Kyoko by a friend. Third visit felt like the therapist turned into someone completely new to me. She behaved differently, kept asking me the same question, "How do you feel right now?" over and over but no matter how hard I tried to answer , she kept asking the same question. I then asked her to clarify what she meant, that perhaps I didn't understand yet she continued to ask "How do you feel right now?" without really seeming to listen
