As a longtime professional in the beauty industry, she brings her passion for fashion, hair, art and wellness into everything she's does, including being a beauty educator, a hairdresser and an entrepreneur. I am very picky when it comes to getting my hair done at a salon. When I lived on the East coast, I would rarely ever visit the same stylist twice because I never enjoyed the finished product. Since moving out to CA in 2019, I have only gotten my hair done at Glamifornia and have continuously seen Joel. I love my haircut every time I leave and am so happy to have found a salon I love!

Glamifornia is an experience. The space is unique, cozy, and magical. Every time I visit Glamifornia, I leave feeling restored, grateful, and gorgeous. Terah is an excellent hair architect, and beauty curator. I'm especially enjoying the exquisite Mad Flowers Face Dew - its essential oils and nutrients give my face the SoCal glow I crave. Joel did an absolutely incredible job with my hair- I am blown away! I walked into the salon not fully sure if my idea would work and he went above and beyond my expectations. He was meticulous with his work and made the entire process so fun. I’m so happy I finally found a great salon/ stylist in LA!

Called Glamifornia to get my makeup done for a wedding in Malibu and left a message (I live in Detroit so I called after hours.) Terah, the owner, called back immediately and worked with me to figure out how to best accommodate me and my needs. She had someone come to the place I was staying to do makeup on site to make it easy for me. It was awesome. Terah sent me Steffeney. Steffeney was super professional, made sure I was comfortable, and did an absolutely amazing job on my makeup. It took about an hour and she did a great job. I wouldn’t change a thing! I am a busy bee these days so taking time out of my schedule for a salon visit isn’t something I take lightly. I love Terah! She has made every single one of my experience very special! I have a very sensitive nose and have allergic reactions to most hair products. I typically bring in my own products. After several bad haircuts and hideous color jobs in the "top salons", I didn't do anything with my hair for almost a year, other than bang trims. I have nothing but the highest praise for Terah and her professional group of artists. From the first time I called the salon, Terah was super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I could tell that she was very meticulous in choosing the right makeup artist, and she even asked me to send pictures of hair and makeup styles that I like. This place is amazing!!! I got the lash lift done by Golnaz and my lashes are curly and separated and sooo long looking! I was in a "treat yo-self" mood this week so I booked that and microblading by Leila. She's an expert at microblading and gave me just the right shape and filled in my inconsistent brows. I'm super happy with the results of both treatments. Terah, the owner is great! Amazing vibes all around and you can't beat the location. Just step outside and see the glittering Pacific Ocean.

I was in Malibu visiting some friends and just on a whim decided to get my hair colored there. My regular girl (in sherman oaks) was on vacation and I had to do something, so I risked trying someone new. The owner wasn't taking walk-ins so I let Darlene take care of me, and she actually did : ) .. She even gave me a decent shoulder massage while the color was setting up. I'd like to say I would go there again but I rarely get to Malibu.

This place is AMAZING! I just got a hair cut from Stephanie and it is fan-freaking-tactic! I wish I had before and after pictures of my hair because I went in and my hair looked like I had surfer girl hair but I'm not a surfer and I DEFINITELY had not just come from the beach. But now, my hair looks and feels incredible. I highly recommend spending the money if you can.

I got my hair done here and make up done by Steffanie for a wedding that I was a bridesmaid in. She did an amazing job -I showed her a picture of the hair style I wanted and she duplicated it to a tee. I also told her what kind of natural make up I was looking for and it turned out better than I could have hoped and lasted all night! Our bride and her maid of honor also had their hair done but by the owner Terah who did an amazing job. I highly recommend this casual beach chic salon to anyone that wants to look or feel glam.

This place just opened up but I'm sure it will blow up soon. A great location in Malibu and such a cool place to get hair, make up etc done. Terah cuts my hair and she is amazing! The salon is so fun and chic. I would definitely recommend for any styling needs whether it's getting ready for an event or just Touching up. Wonderful atmosphere and always something fun going on.
