Dr. Leman, a Charleston native, is thrilled to be back in the Lowcountry after 7 years of practicing at a successful small animal hospital in the Upstate. Nicole, born and raised in Charleston received her Associates in Science at Trident Tech and is currently working towards becoming a licensed Veterinary Technician.

We are a full service animal hospital, with a highly trained staff, and a reputation for being compassionate and caring. We are also locally owned, which allows us to provide more pet specific options at a more reasonable price.

1. Payment is expected when services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill. 2. We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express) checks and cash. All cards must be signed by the owner of the card.

Caring and attentive staff. This is not a vaccination and flea medicine only practice which I feel is too common in the North Charleston area .Dr. Leman will provide excellent care for your pet and provide you with information to help you keep your pet healthy.

I have known Dr. Leman for a number of years. I wouldn’t take my animals anywhere else. His entire staff is great as well. You can tell from the minute you go there they are genuinely vested in the happiness of you you and your pet. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Moved to North Charleston last year and I did a lot of research on the best vets in the area. I ended up on Charleston Animal Hospital / Dr. Leman and I am very happy that I chose this vet! The staff truly CARES about your pets, are affordable, very personable, and are happy to answer questions. I recently started boarding my dogs with them and am comfortable knowing they are safe and get the best care while I'm away. They even call to check on your pets after surgery. LOVE THIS VET!

Dr. Leman and his staff are wonderful! They have taken care of and treated my rescue dog (my baby) with the most respect, love and care. I couldn’t ask for a better veterinarian or veterinary practice. Highly recommend anyone who cares about their fur baby to bring them here!

Semi-new to the area and was taking my time to find a reasonably priced vet for my 4 year old Boston Terrier, but then all of a sudden he became more tired/lethargic than usual and spiked a fever that had me super worried. So with little time to read reviews, I chose the closest vet to get him to ASAP. Called them and to my surprise, they listened to my rushed explanation of his symptoms with questions to get a better idea of what was going on with him. They made me feel like they were genuinely concerned for my little guy just as much as I was. So they squeezed me into their busy Friday schedule
