Services
The Sea Lion Motel offers a scenic, wooded setting where you can relax in a private cottage, house suite, comfortable efficiency, or a motel room. All cottages and efficiencies have kitchens and a futon or sleep sofa to accommodate extra person (s). All rooms have private baths, hair dryers, in room coffee set up, small refrigerators, air conditioning, Direct TV and WiFi.
A fee of $25 is added per night for Cottages & Weekend stays that do not meet the minimum nights required. SHORT TERM RESERVATIONS for a stay of 1 to 5 days, a one (1) night deposit is required. To cancel any part of your reservation, we require seven (7) days notice prior to your arrival date and you will be refunded all but $25.

Simple motel room but clean
We found this place driving up from Salem to Rockport. We called the motel to see if they had availability and the lady on the phone was very kind and helpful and even gave us a last minute discount. The motel room was very basic and simple but very clean. The Wi-Fi was spotty. We did hear what sounded like barking dogs in the middle of the night - or were they barking sealions - no idea. The lady at the front desk in the evening was really friendly and helpful. They offered coffee and breakfast bars in the morning. The motel is close to Rockport.

We stayed here 2 enjoyable nights and appreciated the staff who took pride in their place. The rooms were spacious and spotless. They also had cottages and I believe small apartments. Very nice quiet location & close to town.
Lisa went out of her way to help us find hotels to stay for our next destination.She even went as far as to calling motels/hotels to check on availability.

Location is great, room was clean and looked relatively recently renovated but had a really bad smell... only stayed one night, not sure I would have stayed for more than one night because it was so strong. The person above us was up around 3 or 4 am and was VERY loud, not the Sea Lions fault so not lowering my rating for that but it made for a really bad night's sleep.
