Not bad for a one nighter, too many people seem to live there full time. The park restrooms were clean.

Cute little RV park! They let us stop by to dump our tanks for $10. It was nice to be able to talk to them via text!

I've stayed here 3 times in the last year. I've had the absolute pleasure of meeting the Owner, and her family. Family operated by a mom, son, and daughter. I couldn't be more pleased with the customer service, cleanliness, and how polite the family is. Thank you for being Outstanding! I'll definitely be back!

A nice, quiet, small RV park. Some sites have tree shade. Affordable. Laundromat next door. Grocery store a block away. A handful of decent restaurants in this small town. I'm staying here for a month for the quarantine and may stay the summer.

My husband and I stayed at this park for 3 weeks. The owner, Silvia, was very friendly and willing to help with anything that we needed. The park was quiet even when it was full. Capitan is the friendliest little town that we've ever stayed in. Everyone we saw, as we walked through the town every night, greeted us with pleasant conversation. We will be back and we will stay at Mama Bear Park every time.

Great stop!!! The owners are the nicest people you could meet. A small park, with full hookups. The backins are comfy and pretty. The bathhouse is a single bathroom with shower, clean, and new. Basic, but very welcoming in a cool, VERY little town. Walking distance to everything, next door to a post office and Smokey Bear park. Worth the stop!

Mama Bear RV park is a great place to place to catch a great night of sleep! very quite and friendly. She has both overnight and long term sites. There is a Smokey the Bear Museum next door and a post office to mail off your post cards back to your love ones. This RV park was one of the best overnight place we stayed at on our recent trip to California.

Mama Bear RV Park

The nice layer of gravel of this park cannot be faulted. The location is great, it's right down the road from the main features of this picturesque little town of Capitan. But it is barren looking. The sites in back near a small stream and bounded by a wire link fence are probably quieter. The sites in front are right on U.S. 380 and while "pull through" are only yards away from traffic. The owners are friendly enough. But the showers have not been turned on and the park generally lacks a sense of commodiousness. Wow I never thought I would actually used THAT word
