Pinon Hills RV Park is located two miles West of Capitan, New Mexico along Highway 380. Since you're coming to the country, why not stay where it feels like country. The park is near the Smokey Bear Historical Site, Lincoln, Fort Stanton and Ruidoso. Capitan boasts the nicest small town grocery in the county with an old fashioned meat market.

The closest big town is Ruidoso, a thirty minute drive. The park is located near meadows and country farmlands, so look out for the occasional cow, horse, deer or elk. Free range chickens roam the campground. The RV spots are conveniently larger than normal so slide outs and rig size aren't an issue.

I needed a place to unwind. Found it! Nice view of Sierra Blanca/Ski Apache slopes. Quiet. Clean. Deer outside the kitchen door at dusk. Owner, Carolyn, as good as they come!

This is a wide open space and quite. You have room, not all bunches up. Owners are great. 2 miles into Capitan,so just a hop skip and a jump to resturant's and grocery store.

This is a fantastic place for the one that loves open spaces. Chickens running around ,plenty of room you are not on top of your neighbor. You are only 2 Miles from capitan. There is a great barn for people who stay there to have little get togethes . Nice quiet kick back RVing. Carolyn and Steve are great!
