For those of you who are new to our shop, here is some quick info about us. We are a family-owned tire shop located in the heart of Downtown Alameda.
We have been practicing the art of mounting and balancing tires for the last 10 years. It's safe to assume that we're professionals. Our staff is very knowledgeable, honest, friendly, and caring according to our friendly yelpers. At our shop we only use high-end equipment from the tire industry-leading Hunter Engineering company, so you'll know we'll treat your wheels and tire right.

Services
We use the industry standard approach called plug and patch. We clean up the hole in the tread, get any debris out, plug the puncture with rubber and plies and patch the tire. We offer professional tire mounting & balancing services. We use only industry leading Hunter Engineering equipment (Auto34 tire changer and GSP9700 Road Force balancer).

This is a hidden gem, went in today for new tires for my SUV and they not only provided the best prices in town, but also installed super fast! Soon after, I brought my car in and they replaced the tire sensors within a few minutes. I have lived in alameda my entire life and never new about them, but this will be my spot for all tire related services! Definitely recommend for anyone that wants great service, fair prices and not the up sell sales pitch you get at other local tire shops!

AVN is at the top of their game.
Needed to get some tires aligned, so I gave them a call and they took me same day. They mentioned they needed some parts and got me back in the next day. They worked fast and helped get my car in much better condition.
Prices are right, service is friendly, and they really walk you through everything to make sure you get what you need.

This is nothing less than a high end tire shop with excellent service but with prices that blow the other ghetto tire shops out of the water. It's nice to have a spot in Alameda that you can trust. Chris helped me accurately diagnose a puncture in my wheel that was in the tread but too close to the sidewall to repair. He ordered me two new tires for my AWD X5 within a day and had me up and running by 11am the next day. I super appreciate the quality of the service and options!

Quick shoutout to Chris and the team at AVN Motorsports. They're knowledgeable and highly responsive: I was researching new tires online, and Chris helped me decide on Continentals based on positive customer feedback (which matched online ratings and reviews).

Excellent service! I called to see if they could take a look at my tire. I didn't even expect my tire to be taken care of that day, just wanted them to verify if it had a nail. A guy named Ish found the nail & said they could fit me in to patch it up. Anthony helped me out with the rest. I had my mom & 5 month old with me so they made it convenient for me. Thank you guys once again!

Very happy with every aspect of their work. Appt was easy, dropped it off next day and Ricky handled swapping over my tires from my old Style 66 wheels to my new wheels (polished, 2 piece BBS wheels) on a BMW E39, and they took great care while moving them around the shop and when mounting them.
I loved that they hand torqued the wheels to final specification.
All were efficient and enjoyable to talk to. It was exactly 60 minutes total; true professionals from beginning to end. Top notch Hunter machines.

I LOVE this place! I will say that parking isn't the greatest but it always seems to work out (sometimes I double park since it's not a very busy street). Everyone is super friendly and even more approachable unlike a lot of other wheel and tire shops around the Bay Area. They're great with communication and always keep me in the loop when things don't go as planned, mostly with inventory with particular tire sizes. I care a lot about the quality of work that goes into putting tires on the wheels I've had/have and AVN hits the nail on the head time after time! On top of

Great bunch of guys. They were happy to accept an online order from TireRack and install the same day of arrival. Sorry, I do not remember everyone's names. My installer was awesome. He noticed that the new tires were a different size than my old ones and reviewed that with me. The tires I had ordered did not come in the original size I had. P.S. different size tires can fit the same rim. I digress, they stated, an hour plus to switch-out the tires.... Not even an hour passed and they were done.

I unfortunately busted one of my tires on Saturday on my way over to Alameda and it became flat quite quickly. I ended up calling AVN since it was closest place that I could still drive to carefully without requiring me to have to get my car towed. They picked up my inquiry call promptly and told me to bring my car in. I had to run back home to bring my spare new tire to them that I kept for emergencies like this and my car was done in 20 minutes!
