Coffee Cabin opened its first log cabin themed drive thru coffee shop on US30 in Schererville, Indiana in late 2014. Our purpose; simply to provide great tasting small-batch air roasted coffee (and many other drinks and bakery) with a fast and friendly nature as a better alternative to the large national chains.
Our custom blends are small batch air roasted to the optimal point to yield the highest quality flavor profile. Of course, these things are subjective, so you'll just have to try our Cabin Blend and Dark Forest Blend coffees and our Cabin Espresso or Decaf Espresso to discover which is your favorite.

Went out of my way to try this place. Arrived at 355 and was met with a locked door that a worker had to let me in. She then said "we close in 3 minutes" (irrelevant). I was then rushed through my order which was going to be 2 drinks, but I just ordered 1 due to how uncomfortable it was. I then paid for in my opinion on overpriced drink and was promptly rushed out the door. I'll just go to Starbucks from now on.

Decided to try this place after a friend said it was a great. We went on Sunday and had a horrible experience. I decided to try again on Wednesday, I believe in second chances. Although the coffee and brownie were great, the staff was not. The lady was not polite when I had asked for drink recommendations. I didn’t want something too sweet. She proceeded to tell me to look at the menu, and then said we can make any drinks sugar free. Both workers were very unpleasant and not friendly at all. It was not busy, as I was the only one inside and one person in drive thru. I most definitely will not

I love Lil Coffee Cabin. The drinks are delicious with a huge menu of choices and flavors, the breakfast sandwiches have never missed, and the environment is positive, clean, and friendly. I swing by a couple of times a week, the lines are always short and quick and the prices are fantastic. Cheaper than Starbucks, but better quality than Dunkin'. It's Valpo's little hidden gem. If I could give it six stars I would :)

And I absolutely love that you can fill your wallet and after so many drinks you buy you can get either $2.50-$5.00 worth that you get off on your drinks. Not to mention...after going there for a bit,, you'll be considered a loyal customer,, they'll remember who you are & be treated even better than they already do. Quick stop here for a white chocolate iced latte, it was absolutely delicious! Also ordered a breakfast sandwich on English Muffin (they also have bagel choices). Your choice of ingredients for breakfast sandwich. This was just a quick stop for me as I was in area and hadn't eaten for about 8 hours. This simple meal was very satisfying. The employees were very helpful with my ordering as it was my first visit. I noticed as I sat at my table that they cheerfully greeted everyone who came in. One of their customers proclaimed "This is my idea of the perfect coffeeshop!". They also have curbside service

I'm visiting my daughter and needed my morning coffee. This shop is just down the street from her. I drove up on a rainy Friday morning and asked for a large hazelnut cappuccino. It was perfect.
I like the interior and the warm wood. Tables are spread apart. Even the bathrooms have a wood cabin look.
There are electrical outlets for every four chairs along the counter. There are a few Tom Clancy books to read and a few puzzles to work on. There is even merchandise for sale.
They even do curbside orders for those not wanting to walk inside. Hours are 6-6 during the week and 7-6 on weekends

Cozy local coffee shop with Starbucks quality coffees and foods. Location is easy to get to, ample parking, and a log cabin decor inside staff were pleasant and helpful they have a drive through. The coffee and cookie I had were excellent! Great menu and they will deliver to your car if you don’t want to come in. Open as of 10/2020 M-S 6am-5pm, Sun 7-4. This is my new favorite midwest coffee. I stopped to complete some work and found this gem. What a great atmosphere for work or to meet friends for a cup or treat. I had the pleasure of meeting the young couple that owns the place. They are a very genuinely nice and local family. I ended up staying for breakfast and enjoyed the sandwich too. Air roasted beans! Highly recommend!

Not good. Love the decor and the appearance but lacking in choices. The dark roast wasn't good. Ordered two coffees with cream and sugar and didn't start drinking them until about half a mile down the road and realized there was no cream or sugar. Threw them both out at the Dunkin Donuts on Rt 30 and got some real coffee.
