What a beautiful setting for a winery. Very nice tasting room, plenty of room for sitting outdoors, and even a waterfront!! You won't find vintage wine here, but Thomas has done an excellent job blending the varietals. Yes, some are better than others, however, I did not feel that any lacked in meeting above average standards. This Maryland winery is definately worth a visit.

We stopped here in a recent trip to Deal Island, MD. The winery has a peaceful atmosphere with amazing views of the Chesapeake Bay. The wines are tasty and they have a lot of options. We bought 4 of the sweet wines and a wine slushy. We appreciated that the wines are affordable. The only downside was their tasting menu was pricey. It is cheaper to buy individual wine bottles.

We went here with some friends and we had such a nice time! The wine was good but even better was the ambiance of the winery. It was a cold rainy day but we were warm inside sipping a variety of wines and enjoying good company. We liked the way they had their sampling organized and also the tasty hummus platter (for vegans like me!) to enjoy with the bottle of wine we purchased.

Good wine and live entertainment. The gorgeous brick building in some of the promotional photos is unfortunately not part of the winery, however was still a nice location on the river. The only problem about the visit (and hence not 5 star rating) was that the workers/owners refused to turn on the heated lamps in mid-50 degree weather. Why bother even having the lamps outside if you won’t turn them on? The patio is in the shade and I ended up leaving early due to being too cold outside.

Decided to drive up the Eastern Shore from Virginia Beach to try out the wine here. I was glad we did. The red wines were amazing and the tasting room was very welcoming and comfortable. My favorites were the cab sav and the red blend but I actually liked all of their reds. I can't wait to go back and bring a picnic to sit on the water out back!

Lovely winery in a scenic location. Tried about 6 of their wines, all different kinds and they were all pretty impressive. In Ohio, even though a wine is "red", it's still sweet, not here, these were true red wines. Nice tasting room and outdoor area, too. The day we were there they had live music on the patio, a nice plus. They also serve about 4 beers for those non wine drinkers. If we're in the area again, we'll be back.

3 stars because the wine is ok. For the price, the quality is good.
3 stars because the product is decent and the grounds are absolutely beautiful. But sadly, the staff is horrendous. (I'd give the staff a -5 stars if it were possible)
Their know-it all/ your question is a bother to my existance type attitude was repulsive.
Catered a wedding here and they were absolutely disgusting to work around. Will never recommend this place to anyone because of the awful staff.
You can find better wine anywhere else and not treated like dirt, honestly.

Bordeleau Wine has matured into delicious award winning wines. The Cabernet Sauvignon and the Merlot each have double gold medals, the Petit Verdot, gold medal and most recently the moscato achieved gold medal status. Tom is a master at his craft and Lisa is ever present in the tasting room. The winery is a beautiful as well as fun environment to visit. You can find great music there bi-monthly as well as other fun events. Bring a picnic or snacks and enjoy the beautiful view of the Wicomico Creek or the warm atmosphere of the tasting room. It is a relaxed, unique environment with manicured

The proprietor was very nice. The red wines were incredible, every one of them. The prices as compared to NJ were inexpensive. Very knowledgable and friendly staff. It was a rainy day so we could not experience the dock. We sat indoors which was very comfortable and well decorated.
We have been to many wineries and this one stands out! Give it a shot, you have everything to gain.

I met my husband at Bordeleau Winery last week before meeting friends for dinner. Our first trip to this beautiful winery did not disappoint. The location on the Creek is gorgeous and the wines were delicious!
We had a chance to meet one of the owners since we were there close to closing time. It was wonderful she took the time to chat with us and tell us about the history of Bordeleau. She was very knowledgeable and spent a good deal of time answering our questions.

My husband and I, both in the wine industry, stopped by to evaluate and write about the vineyard on our Instagram account. We met the owner, who quickly left us hanging, said he'd be right back and never returned. The woman behind the counter knew little about the wines and had to keep looking everything up every time we asked a question. The Whites all had a very hot finish, the Reds ranged from flabby to acceptable. Not impressed by any part of this experience...well maybe the water view, they are lucky to have that.

Wines as good as they get are here. And with great packaging and labels. Plus at reasonable prices. I never make a trip out this way in Maryland without stopping at the Bordeleau Winery. The drive up is stunning with manicured vineyards the equal of any I have seen in France or Napa Valley. The wines are to die for. The winery makes absolutely superb dry reds. One of the wines, Chambourcin keeps winning double gold medals. Its hard to win a gold medal but a double gold is the entire judging panel voting unanimously for gold, so that's rare. This Chambourcin, which is a French American

Nice Delmarva winery on drop-dead-gorgeous grounds. If you ask nicely, they may give you a tour of the winery while you're there for tastings. All grapes are grown on-site. They also have their own bottling facility. Wines are on the less expensive side -- most bottles are under $20. The associated estate is very beautiful, and I believe they are starting to host events, like weddings.
