Services
Our daughter, Brittany Mariner is the sixth generation of Mariners to farm the land here at Windmill Creek and she decided that wine would be the future on this historic farm. They were a traditional farming family. They managed to farm the acreage with horse drawn implements and lived mostly from what they were able to grow, sell, and trade.
We offer a variety of wines from robust reds and dry whites to our new line of fruit wines. We offer two flight options. For $16, your choice of four dry or four sweet/semi sweet options. We have comfortable seating areas where you can enjoy a glass or a bottle of wine. Escape the outdoor elements and enjoy a glass of wine sitting in any one of our numerous sitting areas inside the historic Mariner House.
The Windmill Creek Farmers & Artisans Market is every Saturday from 2pm - 6pm during the live music. Come by and shop local vendors from fresh produce, jams, jellies, spices and baked goods to local art, health and wellness products, jewelry, and much more. We encourage you to support our local businesses while you sip and enjoy the great local entertainment!

I am not fully a dry wine drinker, but the dry wines here are superb. The entire house provides seating, and is absolutely gorgeous! Very beautiful setting and amazing wines!

The beautiful old home is open sporadically. I've been there when it was both open to the public and closed off. The grounds have multiple small fire pit areas, a partitioned area contains fire pit tables, baskets of throws and small performance area for the weekend entertainment. If sitting by a fire in the great outdoors on a chilly evening isn't your thing, rent an igloo!!
Atmosphere abounds. The wines are varied and good. There is a food truck should you require sustenance and the food is pretty good.
Love this place. Can't wait to see it this summer when the adjoining wildflower field is

Excellent dinner, charming atmosphere and friendly staff. Would go again but owner should reconsider the $100 fee to dine in the igloo. This expense on top of the cost of wine, appetizers, dinner and dessert is too much!! Would not dine in the igloo again.

Windmill Creek is a hidden gem right outside of Berlin. We always make a stop here when we have guests from out of town. Great outdoor seating areas with fire pits, beautiful atmosphere, live music, and a variety of very good wine. Fair warning - if there is not live music, you’re going to be listening to Frank Sinatra the whole time. The owners must really, really, like Frank Sinatra… a lot. We’d be there more often if they throttled back the Sinatra a bit. Really great place.

We went early (like when they opened at noon) on a Tuesday and it was one of the most pleasant and unique wineries we have been too. This family owned place has some history and you can explore and relax in any part of the historic house. We enjoyed one of the dining rooms with tastefully selected antiques and wine also! The service was great and it is a very short drive into the country away from the craziness that OCMD can bring! The wines were great but nothing was too sweet mostly on the drier side. I would like if they offered some cheese and crackers or something to snack on when sampling
