Stayed in the grey herring cottage for $8k for the week. Thought it would be a relaxing week but I was wrong. Heavy construction on both sides of the house so every morning at 7am they would start running excavators and pounding dock pilling. There were ants all over in the house when we got here. I’ve been coming to islamorada for years and never have I ever wanted to leave so bad. Worst week stay I highly recommend staying anywhere else. Definitely not worth the money.
