Let good dental health start early in your child's life. By cultivating good habits when your child is young, you can teach him or her the importance of strong, bright, and healthy teeth. Southridge Pediatric Dentistry is here to help you. We offer a variety of services aimed specifically at helping both you and your child understand the importance of good dental hygiene.
Preventive care is always a better option than restorative care. So while your child is still young, we partner with you to help teach the importance and habits of good dental health. An important part of this is setting regular appointments with a Board-Certified pediatric dentist. Visits are recommended every 6 months to help maintain your child's good oral health and keep cavities away.
Good dental health begins early with understanding how to prevent cavities. Every 6 months we would like to see your child review simple and effective ways to reduce the chance of getting cavities. We will clean your child's teeth, take dental x-rays as appropriate, and give high strength fluoride treatments.
Children may have a ways to go before their permanent teeth start to grow in, but it's very important to maintain routine teeth cleanings until that happens. In fact, our pediatric dentists recommend scheduling regular precautionary cleanings to avoid any damage to your little one's teeth and gums - damages that may affect their oral health later in life.
As strong and bright as your child's teeth look, you should still take him or her to the pediatric dentist for a check-up and comprehensive dental x-ray every so often. Your child may have cavities or dental damage that the naked eye cannot detect. So to monitor the development of their teeth, get in touch with our pediatric dentist for safe dental x-rays.

1st dentist appointment for my little boy who is autistic and has sensory processing disorder. We have never had any kind of exam without a meltdown. This visit was beyond my wildest expectations. The staff was so patient and kind. He was able to complete the majority of an exam with no issues. So impressed with the whole clinic.

The Staff is absolutely so kind when we walk in and walk out, they make my boy feel so welcome and safe. The Hygienist who worked with my son was absolutely terrific with him, and Dr. Roth is so kind and helpful with not only my son, but he answers any of my questions that I have. We were referred to Southridge Pediatric Dentistry by a friend when we moved to Tooele. They have been absolutely wonderful with all 5 of our children. Dr. Roth is kind, caring, thorough, and has built a great… rapport with each of our children. The dental hygienists are also very kind, very sweet and truly do care about the patients. Because of Dr.Roth/Farnsworth and their staff, Southridge Pediatric Dentistry is the best dental office we have ever been to! Typically going to the dentist is a hassle and dreaded, but not Southridge!! We… never have any crying or fighting, in-fact my kids are actually excited to go every time and can’t wait for our biannual check ups!! Southridge has the most patient/friendly staff and actually get to know/interact with your children! They operate at your child’s pace and make them feel comfortable/welcome before performing any cares. We will not take our children to any other
