Stansbury Park has changed throughout the years. Thousands of homes, new schools, and numerous families have helped Stansbury become the amazing community it is today. Dr. McConnell has been there through it all, opening the first dental clinic in the area. He first opened his doors in 1999, and then moved to a new building in 2009.
I have been in the dental field since 2013. Before Dr. McConnell opened this practice and hired me as the office manager, I worked for him as a Dental Assistant in Wendover, Utah. I am so happy to be back in my hometown with a job and boss that I love. After going to the University of Utah, I married my high school sweetheart, we now have a daughter and a dog named Harley.
Dr. James McConnell is from the Northern California and has been part of the Stansbury community since 1999. He and his wife Barbie were married almost thirty years ago and are the parents of eight children. Their three oldest (Jamie, Sam, and Meredith) graduated from Grantsville and Stansbury High School.
Back in 1999, we opened the very first dental office here in Stansbury Park. I say we because my wife and I took a huge leap of faith that it would be successful in a small, growing community. It was and so much so we had to move ten years later to the location on the corner or SR-36 and Village Blvd.

I have had a great experience with McConnell Dental Care so far. All the staff are very friendly! The lady who cleaned my teeth gave me really great advice about my teeth cleaning routine. I was surprised that none of the dentist's offices I have previously gone to have given me any of the advice she gave me. Doctor McConnell is great as well. Overall I would highly recommend McConnell Dental Care. 👍
