While trained in conventional medicine as an Internist, I worked in both hospital and clinic settings for the past 16 years using tools like pharmaceutical drugs to heal acute and chronic medical problems. Seeing that this was a bandaid in many cases, I realized that we weren't teaching people how to prevent and often reverse many diseases.

I've become very unhappy with calling the answering service to get my prescriptions refilled, this time it took six days before I received my meds, the second problem was I asked for the directions to State three pills to be taken each day, when I got my prescriptions it only says one pill a day, I can't believe that I have to call an answering service and cannot call the doctor's office directly. Dr. Jennifer black is a wonderful physician I have no problems with her, but if she's aware of this message I wish she would call me so I could talk to her personally this is Arthur ring hand birthday

Sadly Dr Brunst has retired but many of the original employees still remain at his office which is now perlman clinic in the Encinitas medical building Suite A 200. Dr. Mark Kalina MD has taken the place of Dr Brunst and I'm told by family members he is an excellent physician. I was a patient of Dr. Brunst's for over 3 decades. Not many doctors left who actually see you, share their cell phone number, respond to calls on weekends and really take the time to listen and genuinely care for and quickly determine difficult diagnoses. Recently called as a potential patient, simply seeking information about their self pay price list for specific appointment types. Staff sounded completed confused and undertrained in simple medical terminology. Put on hold for several minutes at a time and transferred over and over. Never received any actual information or referral even. Zero transparency. Worst part is Brunst will never know because their staff keeps their mistakes to themselves rather than research or ask the actual doc on how they should proceed about procedures and policies.

Both Dr. Brunst and Das are 2 of the most thorough, caring doctors I have ever been a patient of. They always take their time with me and answer any and all questions I may have. They never rush and give the kind of service to me that I wish every physician would give. Their commitment to their profession is obvious and I highly recommend them!

Doctors are great, unfortunately the staff in the front office are rude and not accommodating, they don’t care even if it’s an emergency, a quick word with the doctor would help. How do they know what’s going on with the patient. Spoke with the doctor on the last visit and mentioned what’s going on and he said no that’s not how it should be , they should at least let us know.
