After being disfigured by a cosmetic surgeon 8 years ago, followed by 6 revisions from 3 different surgeons, I had given up hope of ever looking normal. They kept my $120.00 dollar consultation fee even though I cancelled well in advance and had good reasons to have to reschedule and cancel , all reasons out of my hands mind you. $120.00 dollars is a lot of money to take from someone and it's Highway robbery if you ask me. So it's safe to say I will be getting my eye lid surgery elsewhere so their greed lost them five grand but at least gained them $120.00 dollars ..Greed never pays off. In the end really. I had upper eyelid surgery 5/20/21. Dr. Ghafouri is a man of few words and a superb surgeon. His entire staff from the front desk in the office to the surgery services at Scottsdale Eye Surgery Center all provided exceptional care. One must follow doctors orders during recovery to have the best outcome. My wife is scheduled for an appointment for possible upper eyelid surgery with Dr. Ghafouri in July. I would highly recommend Dr. Ghafouri.

On July 2, 2020 I saw Dr Ghafouri in office from a referral from my eye doctor. He offered my options and I agreed to procedure. My issue is with his office/billing. After paying for the procedure they called me back and said I "owed" more. So not wanting any issue I paid that added amount. The office was given all my address/insurance co-pay information before this visit. Unfortunately, on 3/30/2021 I receive a message from there office people (not billing) that I have a co-pay they did not collect and that they are sending it to collections. They state they have sent several bills

I signed up for an appointment on-line for a consultation and when I arrived they required a $120 fee! No where online was this mentioned. They said the fee would go towards a procedure. But during my appointment Ali said I wasn't a candidate for the procedure. Don't go to him unless you are 100% sure he is the surgeon for you AND you need the procedure.

Amazingly talented surgeon! I struggled with a chalazion that would go back and forth between being an unsightly bump on my eyelid to a painful stye for two whole years. I was always afraid to get it removed. Other specialists told me it was mostly scar tissue and they didn't want to risk ruining my eyelid or me losing my lashes by attempting to remove it. Random stories on the internet of eye patches and unforgettably painful experiences didn't help... However, Dr. Ghafouri went ahead and removed it during my consultation. Dr. Ghafouri has great attention to detail. My husband started going to him and wasn't sure if he would like him. He had his eyes done and Dr. Ghafouri told him that he may only have 75% improvement. My husband and I are so happy with the results....it was more like 95% improvement. We both doing more with him (filler, botox, face treatements, etc.) because he has great attention to detail and does not make false promises. We would definitely recommend him.
