Allergan offers discounts for Botox Cosmetic treatments through the "Brilliant Distinctions" program. A glaucoma drug that was found to grow longer, darker and thicker eyelashes as a side effect. As an ophthalmologist and oculoplastic surgeon, Dr Edelstein is able to both monitor the success of Latisse and its effect, if any, on your eye pressure.
Your eyes are frequently the focal point of your face and an important aspect of facial attractiveness. The eyelids are critical in protecting the eyeball, maintaining a stable tear film and providing facial expression. The eyelids may become droopy or baggy due to stretching of the tissues which can allow normal fat to advance and create a fullness or thickness of the upper or lower eyelids.
Botulinum toxin (Botox) is a muscle relaxing agent that is derived from bacteria (clostridium botulinum). The active ingredient of Botox is a neurotoxin which is used in extremely small amounts to block the nerve impulse to the involved muscle. The effect of botox is temporary and used to reduce muscle spasms and/or muscle action that causes dynamic facial wrinkles.
Since the beginning of time people have been concerned about their appearance, particularly with regard to facial wrinkles causing premature aging of the face. These concerns typically revolve around the anatomic changes associated with reduced skin hydration, texture change, solar damage, tissue laxity and longstanding muscular contraction.

This man is the worst plastic surgeon on the face of the earth!!
He’s so unprofessional he’s all talk with no results, he performed surgery on my mom‘s under and upper eyelids, her main concern was her under eyes that look puffy, she went through the whole surgery the whole recovery, she saved money and this is something she has been wanting to do since she was in her 40s and she finally decided to do this for herself!!
By six weeks we noticed shes looking exactly the same as she did before surgery (!) so disappointed we made an appointment to talk to him about it . We were certain that

Went in for a consultation and ended up with a $200+ bill in the mail a few months later. A big chunk of that was from him taking 2 or 3 pictures of my eyes on his digital camera, which took seconds. Another big charge for a 'visual eye test', which was him waving a stick around in front of a black sheet inside a closet, and stopping when he wanted me to say I couldn't see. Sketchy much?

I have had two cosmetic eyelifts performed by Dr. Edelstein; the first one 16 years ago and the second one just recently. Both times the results were totally consistent with the established goal, and I could not be more satisfied.
Additionally, he still employs the same office staff ( Brandi) from 16 years ago. Needless to say that is a rare find these days, as it also reflects very favorably on any business.

The least professional and least personable doctor I have ever been to. He walked into the exam room on his cell phone, then changed his mind and walked back out again, only to walk back in later while still on the phone. Scribbled what his plan was on a piece of paper and didn't explain anything well. He charges you for things without telling you during your consultation: over a hundred dollars for a visual field test, which consisted of him waving a stick around in what looked like a converted closet (other places actually have machines for this), and another hundred dollars for photos

Amazing doctor. Two of my sons see him and he is absolutely an expert, can deal with unusual things, performs surgeries really well, is patient and explains things well without being condescending. He is super down to earth while also being an excellent professional. He is very prompt. Also, his office staff are great, super friendly and competent, never had any issues with scheduling or billing at all. The office itself is also very nice with a comfortable and elegant waiting area. Seriously, you won't find a better eye surgeon anywhere.

I had a great experience!! I had a blepharoplasty done over 14 years ago. Under my eyes my skin became very drippy. I looked exhausted all the time. Dr. Edelstein was meticulous in getting it just right. I feel I look 10 years younger. I was recommended to him from a friend that had her upper and lower lids done. She had done her research decided to go with him. She looks fantastic! I would highly recommend him. His office staff is professional friendly and fun. I plan on going back in a year or two to have my upper lids done. You can't beat his work!!!

If we could give zero stars we would. Dr. E was shockingly condescending and arrogant. We came for a second opinion for our son's congenital condition and were horrified at his "bedside manner." In addition to not reviewing our son's case prior to the visit, which made the appointment a waste of time, he also neglected to see clearly on the paperwork our son has special needs and treated him poorly, becoming irritated at our son for being afraid of the examination. He spoke to us as though we had no idea about our son's condition which is frustrating after 13 years of being

This doctor was literally an answered prayer. My husband was in a great deal of pain and needed an enucleation, his doctor wanted him to wait over a month. I called this doctor he saw him one day and performed surgery the next. We already had all the medical records and clearances he needed, and he got it done. I I just want to share that we are very grateful to this man, he acknowledged my husband’s pain, he understood the urgency, he had compassion. That is what a good doctor does. Thank you Dr. Edelstein, God bless you! Thanks also to Brandy, for all of your understanding and hard work.

About a month ago I started experienced burning eyes and it would start around 10:00 am and burn throughout the day. I went to my Optometrist and he said I had severe dry eyes and recommended a couple of procedures in his office, which aren't covered by insurance; however, the pain was so bad I was willing to try anything. He also started me on steroid eye drops along with artificial tears. His office staff encouraged me to buy a warming eye mask ($60) to use nightly and a $50 bottle of Omega 3. None of that helped, my eyes continued to burn daily and it was affecting my ability to work and

I was referred here by my surgeon at MD Anderson. I had nerve damage following cancer in my neck which caused my eyelid to droop. It threw me off at first how quickly he worked, but he gets the job done! On the say of my eyelid surgery he was very caring and explained everything. I had an insurance issue come up the day before surgery and his staff was so helpful and amazing! Everything was straightened out. I am very pleased with the results and the entire office staff. I would recommend him, and I let my surgeon know how happy I was with him as well.
