Great place to stay! It is very comfortable and clean. It reminds me of a cozy cabin in the north woods, reminiscent of staying at my Grandma's house.

Not truly a pet friendly hotel. I called to ask for rates and was told they would not accept my large breed dog, while a small-breed-sounding dog yipped and barked loudly in the background. OK if that's your policy... I'll happily take my money elsewhere...but also giving 1 star for rude person that answered phone. There are truly pet friendly hotels in Newberry that deserve our business!

This was a great little motel, the price was a little high ($75 a night) but considering the other options, this was great! It was clean, the service was nice and the owners were nice and friendly. It met our needs in the sense of needing a place to sleep at night while on our UP tour. Id definitely recommend for those who aren't camping and need a place to stay or out snowmobiling and whatnot!
