Michigan's Upper Peninsula is a beautiful area to take in the magnificent scenery year-round. Whether it is spring, summer, winter, or fall, this area holds to beauty and elegance at all times. Our motel is a great starting point for your journey through Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Epoufette has been a fishing village since 1859, when Amable Goudreau, born in Quebec around 1824, established a commercial fishery.
Bob was a great host with a clean, comfortable motel, and who helped me out in a pinch when my daughter's snow machine wasn't running right. We are looking forward to going back. I stayed here with my mom for one night. It was definitely the most affordable hotel we've come across. The family who runs it was super accommodating to our late arrival time, and with typical yup-er style, let us pay for the room the following morning as it was late.

We showed up in the evening, the owner was very friendly. Our room was very clean. It was chilly outside, and the heater in the room worked great. We were able to back up right in front of our door, which was easy for unpacking and safety. The lake is right outside the windows. There was some traffic noise, but only the big trucks, and it wasn't louder than the tv, and it didn't wake us up. The bed was very soft, but it didn't bother my husband (i get a stiff neck sometimes on a soft bed, but once i fell asleep i was fine). The bathroom was very clean, with fluffy towels. The tv

Great little motel is a special little town called Epoufette (place of rest). We didn't know that until we had made quick travel plans for a weekend away. Lovely little place with a view that's breathtaking. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable and CLEAN! I would've loved and in room coffee maker but made do. Two restaurants super close as well. Folks at the motel even made a bonfire for guests. Nice place.
