Wishon Village RV Park is conveniently located 75 miles from Fresno, California, at an elevation of 6,600 feet above sea level. It is just a mile from Wishon Reservoir and seven miles from Courtright Reservoir. Our quaint summer resort features an RV Park with 96 spacious full hook-up sites, a cozy Cabin Rental, and two nicely appointed RV rental units.

Services
For over 60 years, camping with us has become a family tradition for thousands of guests. Parents and grandparents across multiple generations have established for them a heritage of many fond memories. Memories of enjoying the splendor and serenity of California's western Sierra Nevada Mountains. Guests even today have the opportunity to do the same for their children, family members, and friends.
It is our goal to provide a wholesome, enjoyable family experience at Wishon Village. We are proud to offer 26 great tent sites and each one is set up with a large 12-foot x 16-foot platform to keep your tent off the ground, a fire pit, and a picnic table. There are water spigots readily available.
All our rental units are stocked with basic pots and pans, utensils, dishes. They all come equipped with a Fridge and Freezer, Microwave, Coffee Pot, Toasters, and Stove Top. Also included are, a restroom, couches, a TV and DVD player, and a table so you can enjoy camping without having to haul up all the equipment!
Interested in staying longer than a week in one of our rentals? Let us know, we'll work something out. There is a maximum of 6 people per rental unit site and absolutely NO PETS OR SMOKING are allowed. Winter Season or Closed Season availability is restricted to construction workers / contractors / non-public personnel, etc, with formal approval to access beyond the locked gate at Dinkey Creek.
It is a favorite gathering place for regional visitors. There's always a fresh cup of coffee, a cold drink, your favorite snack, and more. Ask the staff about the Ice Cream Society that happens during the spring and summer seasons. Although most folks plan to bring everything they need for their vacation in the western Sierra, almost everyone will have a need for a few extras while away from home.

Venture to the edge of civilization in comfort. The Village is a favorite spot for our family when we want to retreat from the valley heat and crowds. However, this road has more curves than the Kardashian family.

Although the place looked great, clean and maintained, and close to Wishon Reservoir... I could not stay because I was only staying one night, "No Saturday Departure Rule😔" - note taken for next time.
Well I made the best of it and stayed at Courtright, 5 ⭐ to their facilities... Thanks

We had a great time. The site was huge. Plenty of room for two vehicles a trailer and a boat. Still not crowded. Wish the bathroom and shower 30ft away was open.

Yeah I stayed here. Totally weak wifi but that's OK when you have amazing views close by. Bathrooms are a bit cramped, but worked and appeared clean. Decent store with nice people. 10/10 would stay again.

It's OK. Decent facilities, surprisingly nice and well stocked store, and nice people but it seemed cramped on the RV side.
For such a beautiful area it feels too much like any other trailer park and doesn't feel as much of a place to enjoy the mountain/nature experience as I'd hoped and am used to.
The nearby area is beautiful but you need to be able to travel away from the park to experience it.
There's no real view other than other RVs, not much by way of trails and not much privacy.
For example, on one evening as we sat by the campfire we could see and hear the TV shows/movies playing on

Our regular camping spot in Shaver Lake was closed due to Covid this year so we booked a tent spot for a week here. The spot we were assigned (#18) had no shade between 7:00am until 4:30pm. There was no picnic table for this spot and only enough space for parking one vehicle. We did drag the table from site #17 to our site because #17 was close for Covid distancing, but we shouldn't have had to.

On our week long stay here's some things to note about camping at Wishon RV park.
1. They cater to RVers more than the tenters. The RV sites look really nice and are setup well, but if

The campground was nice and we'll kept, we had a pretty spot that was shady most of the day and back to the woods. the people in the store were nice and helpful and answered the phone when we couldn't quite find our way getting lost seemed like 5 times. seriously folks don't listen to your GPS. If you're on McKinley just keep driving you'll find it. Even if your GPS says it was five miles behind you. Yes sure like any other Campground you can hear the neighbors play their TVs too loud and The kids screaming across the campground. I didn't care for the plague of wasps that keeps you from eating

I had never been here before and the only reason we did come was because a friend invited us, and I am soo glad we made it. The place was easy to find, they booked two spots next to each other and so we had plenty of space and the picnic table and firepit was a nice surprise. There were little stages for the kids to do shows, trails to take, the dam waant that far and beautiful to fish and hike at, it was such a nice experience! Onw fault was a neighbor of ours was a little rowdy one night and for their super late and made soo much noise, so I wish there was a cut off tim to be respectful of the

Awful customer service. We had an emergency situation costing us over $10,000 on the day we were supposed to arrive. We immediately contacted them and they refused to refund us, or credit us for the following season since we couldn't make it in time before they close. This is bad business, it wasn't like we did a no show or didn't want to go, we were stranded and UNABLE to go and yet they had no compassion or willingness to budge.

Great place. Nice owners family oriented. Clean quiet. Christian . Loved it. Granted that Rockford RV already on site. Beats the heck out of calling a 30 foot trailer behind you on Mountain Road.

This is our first stay at this park, they had a magician on Saturday night at
their pavilion which was really cool! Park is neat and clean as are the restrooms and showers. They obviously take pride in their park as there's no riff raff allowed and they keep dumpster areas neat and clean! Thank you Paige for helping us with our reservations!!!!! We'll definitely be back!

This was a wonderful semi-mid way spot for us to meet our family in Northern California for a long weekend of camping. 6 hours north of Carlsbad (San Diego area), it was a perfect spot for a true getaway. Our party was split between tent camping and RVers so we were in separate sections but luckily, our campsites were very close. Just a short walk. It could not have worked out better. Each site was very clean and nicely shaded from the surrounding trees.

The hosts and everyone in the general store were always really friendly and so helpful. You are 30-40 minutes from town so anything you might

We went on a spontaneous trip to Wishon Reservoir for some fishing. Our first time at Wishon. We did pack to camp just Incase, however every tent camping was taken. Luckily deducted to stop at Wishon Village store where we met the nicest employees who were able to guide and help us get a tent site for the night. There's restrooms, showers and a flat platform already made for our tent. They have a Bbq pit/bond fire set you just need wood where you can buy at the store within walking distant from camp site. They were very accommodating and the customer service was more than expectational!

Great experience. Clean, quite at night. Friendly and helpful staff, a store and fishing on a beautiful reservoir. Launch your boat for free and there's no high speed traffic allowed so fishing is great.

I had a bad experience that people need to know about. I switched over to this campground from another that was under developed. They we're very accommodating being we just walked up to get a site. We we're lucky that they had something even though we would have to move twice in our 5 day stay. That wasn't my issue with them I had an unexpected issue with my tow vehicle breaking down and undriveable in Oakhurst which is 91 miles by RV or 75 by car due to the road conditions. When I told them I had to leave due to my predicament. They would not refund my last 2 nights. The lady just

We had an excellent time staying here for my husband's birthday party weekend. The spaces were large, restrooms clean, and store stocked with necessities, just in case. It was quiet as well. We are looking forward to booking a space here again!

This place is a great hideaway for friends and family. The reason I found this place is because I am working right around the corner for PG&E. Fishing at wishon Lake is amazing. The drive up here is long but definitely worth it. I plan on seeing you for the next few months and will do another review at the end
