The current owner, Dr. Davy Harkins, has been a member of the practice since 1971 and has managed its growth since 1976. Dr. Harkins was named Kansas Veterinarian of the year in 2006 by the Kansas Veterinary Medical Association. Our Registered Veterinary Technician is Kathy Daily. She joined the practice in 1977.
The El Dorado Animal Clinic is a full service Veterinary Hospital. We treat all species of animals - small, large & exotic; on occasion, Dr. Davy is even the doctor on call for the zoo! Dr. Davy is also one of the few doctors in the state to perform such procedures as root canals and braces on pets.

As a new client of our Animal Clinic in El Dorado, you can expect our full attention to your pets' needs. When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly, and we'll usher you into an examination room after checking in your pet. In most cases, one of our veterinary technicians will start by asking about your pet's medical history, current condition and the reason for your visit, gathering data for the doctor.
My husband, David & I have been going to Dr. Davy since we first started adding dogs to our family many years ago. Dr. Davy and the entire family at El Dorado Animal Clinic helped us from the onset of our 'adoptions' to the support when one of our pets were at the end of their lives. Our Bearded Collie, Romeo, was cared for by Dr. Davy from 6 weeks old.
