Services
Originally from France, Thierry Roger studied fashion and art at L'ecole des Beaux Arts de Tours. While in Paris, Mr. Roger continued his study of fashion and women's clothing, and later worked for the House of Guy Laroche. Roger moved to Chicago in 1990 and made his fashion mark quickly, his biography includes a line of couture eveningwear and mother of the bride dresses for Henri Bendel.

What a fun experience working with Thierry! We met through our mutual involvement in the Costume Council of Chicago. I had seen some of his work and decided to start on a coat. It is the most exquisite coat I own. I have never had anything created and designed for me. It was a very fun experience and I am looking forward to wearing the red suit he made for me. I am excited about our next collaboration which I hope will be soon🙏🏻

Thierry Roger is a true artist. I’ve never felt more beautiful and strong than when I’m wearing one of his pieces. The clothes he’s made for me are a delicate balance of timeless elegance and modern power woman! In this world of ‘fast fashion’ he takes the time to connect, collaborate, and inspire a woman to feel her most fabulous self. Chicago is spoiled to have him here.

Thierry created a beautifully elegant yet modern dress for me for my son's wedding. His access to one of a couture fabrics was extraordinary. He was able to work within a tight 6 week time frame - and was nothing but charming and easy to work with throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Thierry's work!

I was referred to Thierry by the wedding planner for my daughter's wedding. He had never met Thierry but had admired his creations on one of his other clients and raved about his talent. I was in need of two evening gowns within a few short months. Thierry is so talented!! He made my dress for my daughter’s wedding - as well as one for the rehearsal dinner - and they were both absolutely beautiful and fit me perfectly! He is incredibly skilled, easy to work with and was able to help me not only find perfect fabrics but design the dresses with me. I couldn’t have been happier and will definitely be back!!

I had the loveliest experience working with Thierry at the beginning of this year. I was co-chairing a Black and White Ball at the Four Seasons and needed to wear something special. I didn't want to wear an off the rack dress that someone else might wear, so I decided to have one custom made. I got Thierry's information from my friend, who is co-owner of Chalk boutique in Evanston, and she said he does excellent work for her clients.

Thierry has been designing for me since the early 1990s. His fashion sense is impeccable and his designs are works of art.
The latest outfit that Thierry designed just for me was a suit with two great looks: a beautiful black jacket with casual pleating and two skirts; one black and one red and black wool twill. Amazing craftsmanship. I always look stunning and ready for the professional challenges ahead in his couture!
