One would assume that by making a table reservation and paying $25 you would at least be greeted by a server at the barn. But that's not the case.
passed the gate entrance being asked stupid questions such as do you have any pets with you, your pretty much on your own other than having to leave your car with the valet parking at a cost of $12.
There's no one greeting you or sitting you at a table and offering a menu.
For an afternoon of overpriced, 12" pizzas & a chopped Italian salad that lacked dressing, flavor & tasted as it came from a fast-food restaurant all served

Cielo Farms is definitely a nice, chic place for a hangover, but be warn when its busy service can be a bit slow. But they are trying their best to serve the correct amount of wine per glass each time and this is where I see that takes their time away from service itself. Food is alright, small tapa dishes, but the popcorn is a hit from what I noticed around that night that several groups ordered.

They will help you with proper selection of vendors for food, beverage and rentals. You want your wedding be the best ?? This is it. Top notch venue in Los Angeles area. Definitely recommend!

Breathtaking views from the top of a vineyard tucked away on the peak on a mountain in Malibu. Our server had the best recommendations; the diablo pizza was spicy but was tastefully done! Charcuterie board was pleasant and the wine we had actually came from the grapes grown right there on the vineyard. We were able to get a lovely seat with a firepit overlooking some of the Santa Monica mountains. Cielo Farms is truly one-of-a-kind — premium experience.

I do not recommend this place. There are plenty of other cheaper and just as beautiful winey's/places to drink and have a good time in Malibu. First of all it is far too over priced. They only serve food (other than cheese boards & salads) Thursday-Sunday so if you go any other night expect to be hungry and out $100+ on wine and a small salad that might be enough to feed 3. The other night we made reservations for my moms birthday when we got there after ordering wine we were told there would be no food. We were upset since we were having a birthday party with friends and expected pizza

If I was asked to review the views I would give them 4 out 5, but since we are reviewing quality of wine, food & service, I'm sorry but I think 2 out of 5 is pretty reasonable.
You would think a $28/glass of wine would be a wine of better quality. To be honest, it's just OK, save yourself $8, head to TJs and buy a bottle of Decoy for $20, it will be much better and cheaper, it's a win win for sure.
The food is subpar, also super expensive. A cheap cheese plate for $31 and bad quality pizzas closed to $30, are overly expensive.
To top it off, there is a $25/table fee.

Our daughters wedding was scheduled for 4/4/20 and of course the Pandemic hit and we could not reschedule the wedding. Thus we were out 1/2 of the funds we paid to the venue and never received anything, not even wine or wine membership or anything. Additionally, Cielo never sent us a congratulations letter to our families, just a bill that we never received anything for our payment of $8,000.00... a lot of money just to throw away and never even get a wedding or party or anything!

I was seriously considering this as a place to hold my wedding but dealing with Rob Pausmith, the coordinator, was the absolute worst. He is unorganized and rude. We toured the grounds and he was condescending the whole time - I'm not sure if he was just having a bad day but it really turned us off from the whole experience. Hope he finds peace!

I'm leaving 3 stars because during our most recent visit a few things have changed. We noticed the prices have gone up significantly. Most bottles of wine are now ~$100 each. They also are no longer allowing outside food. Such a bummer! We used to love packing our own snacks and charcuterie. Now their options are to buy a small boxed charcuterie or order a brick over pizza of there's. We understand price increases and food restrictions are likely due to Covid, but it just

We had a confirmed appointment to tour the venue today. We arrived 15 minutes early and sat outside the gates, calling our wedding contact 5-6 times in the next 20 minutes. He responded 45 minutes via email after our appointment time.
We drove quite a long way to visit the venue. Really tough to arrive and get 0 responses at the gate.

I think this place is absolutely a must if you would like to try some great wine in a beautiful place. The drive there is scenic in itself. Great location for a get together or birthday. Also shout out to the person who selects the music because the whole time, the music was on point.
We went on a weekday so I don't know how busy it gets on other days. But our time there was perfect. There was lots of space to walk around or sit. They offered flights and glasses of wine. Although we didn't get anything to eat, they had charcuterie boards and oven pizzas.

If I were just giving a review on the views and the winery itself it would be 5/5. The winery is between the hills and is beautifully setup. Some of the best views my wife and I experienced during our California trip.
However, the service really struggles. First, our margarita pizza took 50 minutes from the time we ordered it. It was good, but I don't understand what could have taken so long, and we were given no explanation or apology.

The perfect way to spend a Saturday! I came here with my family this weekend and we all had a great time. They check ID's and temperature before driving up to valet your car. They have ample seating, some with a view, others with a fire pit attached, long communal tables, and daybeds for lounging. We ordered the honey pie for our white wine, 1 red, 2 pizzas, and a charcuterie board which was enough for a party of 6.

Cielo Farms is like Malibu Wines but classier and more civilized. Instead of having to bring your own picnic blankets, they have tables (which convert into fire pits). There is a wood fired oven that makes pizzas you can order that perfectly pair with the wine and the views are amazing. The wine is not the best, but it's definitely better than Malibu Wines. All in all a step above Malibu Wines in every aspect.

Stunning view + great wine + delicious pizza = repeat customer!! This winery has one of the best views!! Just imagine baby Grand Canyon + Bryce Canyon nestled in Malibu; views are stunning. Loved their wine, enjoyed their pizza, and this is a must stop if you are near. Just remember to make a reservation!! Highly recommended!!
