The best restaurant I've had, and my favorite place to go. It's a great romantic steakhouse and winery, I go every year for my anniversary. The wine selection is large with varying flavors and types you are SURE to find one. They also have cocktails and other forms of alcohol. The prime rib is a delicious must have, I always order it. At the end the baked Alaska is an amazing way to finish. It's a light dessert that is not overly sweet, and leaves me refreshed after the meal. The chocolate cake is also good but wayyy to sweet for me personally. If you decide to go make sure you have reservations

I made a reservation here for my boyfriend and my two month anniversary because he really is a fan of good steak.
The place had a really nice vibe. Dim lightning, cozy corners and very individualized private seating. Definitely perfect for date night!
For the food we ordered the Baked French Onion Soup to start with and then split the Filet Sebastian.
The Baked French Onion Soup was really fresh and warm and had nice cheesy coating on top. It was steaming but not at all too hot. This was actually my first time trying a dish like this and I really liked it. Good balance and flavor of the onion

This place is a real gem and one of my favorite restaurants here in Omaha. In a large windowless building in the back of a shopping center sits Brother Sebastian's. Approaching the large wooden doors you can hear monastic music being played. That's because this place is a theme restaurant! But it's not tacky, the place is decorated very tastefully and has an excellent wine menue. Ordering the prime rib here is truly an experience. The au jus is warmed in a small dish above a candle and the meat comes with a choice of potatoe, veg, and salad bar. Plus very good bread.

Had just enough time to stop for lunch before leaving Omaha. Read about Brother Sebastian's and it sounded like it would be fun. Kind of tucked away from the main roads, it's a little hidden but that adds to it being more of a gem. The restaurant is themed after a Medieval Abbey, both outside and inside. You hear Monk chanting as you walk up to the doors. Inside you'll find Staff wearing robes and the different dining areas all have themes to them as well. We were given a tour after our meal by our server to see everything, it was very cool. Again sorry I forgot the name, but he did a very good

Never go to classy places. This was a real treat for my birthday. I'm a simple man, so got a burger and fries. Only complaint was the bun. Could be I'm not familiar with the dough used, and it's above my taste. However, to me, it seemed a little stale. Atmosphere, service, price, food quality, and decor all excellent.

The wait staff is amazing. I never had an empty glass or waited too long for anything. The decor is stunning. It's a very unique environment. The prices are very steep. This is definitely a special occasion place. We went there for my husband's 50th birthday. We both had the lobster bisque, it was quite salty. The bread they serve is quite bland. The sweet potatoes are delicious! That was my favorite part of the meal. My husband ordered the stuffed shrimp and was quite happy with it. I had the chicken piccata, it was okay but not great. I felt like the flavor was just not there. All in all we had

This was a fun trip! We did not expect to find this gem on our trip to Omaha!!! We wanted to go some place nice for our anniversary so my wife picked three places to choose from and once I found out it was a “Monk” themed joint, this made the top of the list. We had to call for reservations on a Sunday night and barely made it in, so be sure to call a head. I had the filet and it was so tender. They leave it up to the patron to season to there taste, which is the monk way. My wife had the Oscar filet and it was Devine she said. We started with escargot and they added a mushroom to each pod

Took my son here for the first time (I'd been years ago). Had such a fun experience eating in the library room. Our steaks were amazing (peppered New York strip for him and prime rib for me). We also shared a 1/2 order of frog legs (first for him) - delicious!! (I suggested to my son that they should have a "Hoppy Hour" to which I got a pretty good eye roll and laugh). So glad the salad bar was open and love that they keep the salad plates cold (there's just something about eating salad off a cold plate). We love this place!!

The atmosphere is a truly unique experience. As you approach the front door you hear monk music prior to entry. Once inside the dim lit dining area enhances the ambiance of a monks quarters. There are several different rooms for dining each with a different theme.
