By the time a child is 4, some of the most important learning that will ever happen has already taken place! During these early years, all children grow and develop at individual rates. For children that have suspected delays or a diagnosed condition, MKSA can help you make informed decisions about your child's needs, and we can assist you in the evaluation process.
Walking, talking, playing, and much more. All children develop at individual and different rates, and there is a wide range of "typical" development. However, if you have any questions about your child's development, or the rate at which he/she is meeting milestones, call MKSA at 516-731-5588 and our professionals will answer any questions and guide you in your child's development.

A good agency that supports staff.
I started working with MKSA about 2 years ago. This is one agency that cares and wants the best for their staff and clients. They give meaningful training and respond to my questions fast. They accept feedback professionally. I work with 7 different agencies and MKSA is one of my favorites.

Working for MKSA has been an amazing experience! From the start of my CF year they were supportive, knowledgable, ethical and overall a fantastic team to be a part of! They provided PROMPT training for their new SLPS and made sure that each therapist treated their clients in a professional and caring manner. Such a wonderful group of people. As an early intervention provider, I contniue to have such a great experience with everyone at MKSA. The service coordinators help match up the right therapist to meet the child's as well as the family's needs. They have been wonderful with assisting the children and families from early Intervention to Pre School programs.Whenver I call MKSA, there is always a friendly and helpful person on the other end of the phone. If I have a professional question, I know I can always reach out to Dolores, Annie or Joanne.

I had the pleasure of completing my CFY with MKSA many years ago. The company was truly a family, and offered more than teaching and learning; but support and encouragement to always put my best foot forward. Because of the training I received from this incredible agency, I am now a successful Speech-Language Pathologist working in an elementary school and at the university level as a clinical educator/supervisor in their graduate program. At MKSA, not only did I receive PROMPT training in levels 1 & 2, but I had a wonderful supervisor who made sure I left my CF year with an NPI number and my DOH

Dolores Laskin has worked with both my son and daughter for speech pathology and she is hands down the most amazing speech therapist! My daughter gets so excited for her sessions with "Dee" and has made incredible progress since they started working together. Dolores is also one of the best prompt therapists and has been a godsend to our family! MKSA is a wonderful organization with great therapists.

I did my Clinical fellowship at MKSA nine years ago, and I stayed with the agency as an independent speech contractor in the years following. MKSA is one of the most supportive agencies that I have worked for, and there is a strong focus on provider ethics and expertise. As a first year speech pathologist, I was given trainings in ABA, as well as PROMPT levels one and two. To this day, I am not aware of any other agencies that provide such extensive training. Additionally, they conduct several inservices throughout the year to ensure that all of their providers are given the tools to treat effectively

Working for MKSA has been a wonderful experience! Everyone at the company is readily available to help both providers and clients. As a CF SLP, I was well supported by my speech supervisor and given many tools to both benefit the clients and become a better SLP (including PROMPT training levels 1 and 2). After my CF year ended, I stayed with MKSA because of the genuine people I was able to work with. Many trainings are offered throughout the year to all providers. I had the pleasure of completing my CFY with Dolores as my supervisor. Dolores was a great support and very knowledgeable through this whole process, whether it was completing the necessary paperwork or working with unique cases. MKSA was a great place to jumpstart my career and gain hands-on experience with EI and CPSE, and in a variety of settings from daycares/homes/preschools etc. We were given PROMPT 1 and 2 training which has now become such an asset to employers. I highly recommend MKSA to any therapists looking for extra work as well as parents looking for services for their child.

The providers at MKSA are incredible!
Everyone is so knowledgeable and experienced in their fields. The insight they provided me about my daughter's diagnosis was invaluable in helping her make progress. And the MKSA team noticed things about my child that previous providers missed. For these reasons I would highly recommend the MKSA agency.
