Doc's also carries parts and accessories for most all foreign and domestic models-street, dirt, and ATVs. In addition, Doc's also has a new and used motorcycle and scooter sales department, offering financing options.
Just back from four years in the military in 1968, Doc found out that getting parts for his motorcycle wasn't easy. In fact if you wanted a custom part for your motorcycle, you had to make it yourself. Most franchise dealers wouldn't even service a bike if it were customized. Big distributing companies like Custom Chrome and Nempco (now Bikers Choice) didn't even exist yet.
Doc's service department specializes in most types of motorcycles. If your bike needs servicing, minor repairs, complete restoration our team of experienced technicians offers the services you need at prices you can afford. Doc's Service Department is fully equiped with the latest technology to ensure that there is no repair we cannot perform.

Had a lot of good experiences with docs and the service. But they burned me this time. Be careful with what they tell you. I bought brake lines for my bike. The employee measured my old lines and sold me the new lines. He told me if I had any trouble with them not fitting, just bring them back he would exchange them for longer lines. Just so happened that after tightening the lines, they were very tight. Couldn’t tell until they were fully tightened. So I went back and the woman told me that she couldn’t return them because they were installed. Wasted 60.00. Should of just ordered them from

Was going to Smoky Mountains National Park last year and called Docs. They did a full service on the 2005 road king including replacement of front tire. Had a wonderful trip down and back with no bike problems. Service was courteous and efficient. Only glitch was it was promised by four but took about forty five minutes longer-- understandable with an older bike and the extent of the service. Would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area.

Friendly courteous staff eager to provide assistance. Nostalgic atmoshere with many antique motorcycles. Reasonable prices for service and biker gear. Don't have to wait weeks to get your bike in for service.

At the buisness, both store and service department claim business hours are 9-5. The website advises 10-5. At 10:30 AM on 10/7, although a neon sign read 'OPEN', all the doors were locked. From my perspective, that's incompetence. I took my business elsewhere.

Expensive service and merchandise which is a known thing to anyone living in the area. It'll cost you the same or less if you go to the dealer! They wanted over $800 just to install my apes. Anyone who is willing to pay $800 to get apes installed give me a call, I got a bridge for sale. Sucks because its close by but I have to drive all over the state to get service on my bike. Its been open forever so I guess there are lots of suckers out there. Great bunch of guys working the front though.

Before I begin, I want to note that this review is for the service department.  The salesfloor is great, the sales staff are fun/helpful/informative and so on.  Great selection of stuff available and more than a few bikes to check out on the floor. Hell, the store itself is the only reason this is 2 stars instead of 1.

As for the service, I decided to bring my bike in here because the shop has been around for so long and because of a recommendation from a coworker who is friends with a guy that works there.  So, why not?

This is why: I was having charging issues with an older bike ('83
