I grew up in San Antonio, Texas and its been difficult finding good Mexican food in the Midwest. I love El Senor Cactus. Their drinks, salsa, beans, and entrees are all so good and authentic. Theyre also very well priced. I order from El Senor very regularly theyre great people with great food that reminds me of home.

I got the carne azada tacos and they were tastey, it was just meat on a tortilla but it was still good, i got the chimichanga special, it was excellent, slapped some sour cream on it and was in love. The queso is fantastic it doesnt harden when it cools down, and the salsa is very unique they add some fajita seasoning to it and it was a cool experience. I overall enjoyed this choice, since my fav place left grub hub. This is my new place, i appreciate the excellent service. I do suggest to add some more veggies like zucchini to some dishes, and the creamy part. But Thankyou for being great

Don’t see a photo of their yummy chimichanga posted on here so thought I’d share. So many yummy dishes to choose from. My guy ordered their garlic chicken and loved the taste. His only complaint was having to cut the chicken to put in their fresh tortilla wraps but still was worth it. Lunch for two with soft drinks totaled to a little over $29 without tip. A good sit down place for lunch if not too in a rush and just want to enjoy a freshly cooked meal.

This restaurant gave me diluted iowa Mexican food vibes. I would use the word "authentic" loosely. The menu was missing many Mexican favorites I've eaten at most restaurants. The queso is delicious! Although it's weird that they put queso on most of their chicken dishes. Also weird that some menu items some with rice not rice and beans. Pictured is the chicken fajitas and the garlic chicken. Overall food was really good but I could enjoy some of my Mexican favorites because the restaurant didn't even carry them which I found odd. Also chips didn't seem like traditional freshly made chips I've had
