Services
We will book your online reservation and email you your confirmation if your dates requested are available. If not we will call you and discuss your options. Most sites have picnic table and fire pit. Fire wood is available at the park. If you bring your own wood there will be a $5 per night charge for cleaning your fire pit.
There is no water, or electricity at the yurt site or cabins. We have water, just a short distance away and you are welcome to use our club house for any electricity needs. Bring extra flashlights etc. We do offer one light inside if for some reason your forgot yours the night you arrive. Pictures of the interior "Wine, Cheese, Fruit, and Flowers" are an additional $50 per day upgrade.
Enjoy our Cherry Bark Lodge, which is the first stage of our club house design. The next phase will add two more wings, one wing for bathrooms, showers, and another wing for larger events. The lodge is a full log building with an amazing stone fireplace and is available for your individual use as well as Rally Groups gatherings, weddings, and private events.
Tour de Leelanau was a USA Cycling road bicycle racing event held annually from 2005 to 2008 in Leelanau County, MichiganThats our old Wild Cherry Wagon at dad Jim House. The Leelanau Trail is part of U.S Bicycle Route 35, but also an all paved non-motorized recreational rail trail of 17-mile (27 km) in length that extends from the west side of Traverse City, Michigan to Suttons Bay, Michigan.
Named after my wife's Grand Parents ( John and Theoline Hatlem ) who were immigrants from Norway and lived on Hatlem Pond. There are no formal walking trails, however, there is an easy flat walk that follows an old logging road. This preserve Hatlem Creek is located at 10175 S. Plowman Rd., Glen Arbor.

If I could give this establishment 0 stars I would. The owners are extremely rude and aggressive people, and the campers/RVers are also very unfriendly and unwelcoming at best. Our RV site was dirty when we arrived, we were treated very rudely by the staff, the camping community, and especially by the owners. We were accused wrongly of many things by the owner, sworn at, and worse...I WOULD NOT recommend this campsite or this community to anyone ever. And no, this is not a spam review...a year has passed and we have added our name to this review. Yes, that’s how badly these people treat their

My wife and I love this resort for its peacefulness and tranquility. We like this resort for what it is, it caters to adults. Wineries, lakes, beaches, trails and good restaurants are close by. Great location! If you need to stay connected don't forget to have a weboost cell signal booster or similar, there is not much of a Wifi.

Overall the area is nice. Very large lots and easy to pull in and out. I am knocking a couple stars off because whomever designed the plumbing system didn’t know what they were doing. We have 32’ from our sewer connection. It’s up hill the entire way and impossible to get a flow. Absolutely horrible design. We can’t back up any farther because there is a hill directly behind us. We have a 40’ 5th wheel. Won’t be staying here again.

This campground is pristine! We have stayed here two other times and are getting ready to spend 2 weeks there and can’t wait. Owners are nice and helpful. Sites are beautiful and spacious. True, the wifi isn’t the best. But the peaceful quiet setting, the closeness to just about everything and a break from touristy Area makes it the best! Wineries so close by the Dunes,Fishtown, and an awesome bakery right down the road! See you soon!

We really like the tranquility of this park. A very quiet park settled in a small valley. No restroom facilities which the owner specifies on the website. If you're looking for a true camping experience this place probably isn't for you. I'm not sure why people say there is nothing to do. Suttons Bay is 5 minutes away, Leland, Northport, and Glen Arbor are all 15-20 minutes. Good Harbor beach is about 15, and Lake Leelanau is just down the road. Plus... the umpteen wineries in the area. We have teens and they all really liked the quietness of this park instead of wall-to-wall packed state parks

Great location central located. You can visit many places all within a 10-30 minute drive. We took several day trips. The Cell service and wifi is a bit week on the grounds but we didn’t mind as there was plenty to go do and see and the down time was enjoyable. Cell reception was better once you went up the hill. The camp ground was well… maintained and the staff were very approachable and friendly. They have a nice driving range a short drive or hike up the hill. Very beautiful scenery. Not much equipment for kids but the kids we saw had plenty of fun with their own bikes, yard games

This is more of a RV park than resort. The grounds are beautiful, but other than a small driving range, that is literally it. There's no activities, no pool, no kids playground, no bathrooms or proper shower facilities. Given the lack of any amenities, the price charged is on the high side. If all you want is a place to park with a picnic table and fire pit, then this is for you, if you want things to do, find somewhere else.

Very well run RV resort! Great staff and owners. Very comfortable sites that have plenty of room between sites without being on top of one another. The location is perfect between Sutton's Bay and Leland in Wine Country. Couldn't ask for a better RV resort.

We have stayed at Wild Cherry a number of times. True there is no swimming pool or putt putt golf, and neither are advertised. Wild Cherry is designed primarily for RV camping and an "older" crowd that tends to stay a few days. The facility is in excellent condition and the sites are spacious and clean If quiet makes you nervous or you hate relaxing you should go elsewhere. We have yet to meet an unfriendly staff member or guest.
