Families have spent a century vacationing and building memories here; we created a place that allows you to do the same with your family and friends. Services
For me and my family, it all started with a weekend visit - two months later, we were condo owners. It has been my family's summer destination since 2000 and oh, so many memories we have had. Families have vacationed here for over a century and it didn't take us long to feel the area's warm embrace.
Indigo Bluffs delivers three unique experiences: a beautiful and authentic RV Park, the RV Resort detailed in natural luxury and our luxury Cottages. How we bring them all together on our 67 acre property makes a big impact. Three generation vacations and group trips are abundant while camping in Michigan.
Enjoy spacious sites in a traditional Up North setting under a canopy of maple trees. Accommodating all towables, pop-ups and motorhomes with water+electric, full hook-up and pull-thru sites. We also offer a limited number of Rustic Cabins and Tent sites. Our park appeals to campers of all ages and caters well to family outings and groups.
Join in on the fun of the outdoor lifestyle with your family and friends. Combine the comforts of home with an authentic camping setting. Two floor plans to choose from: two queen beds, oversized shower, open kitchen/living area and spacious covered porch complete the interior. Privacy, fire pit and outdoor seating all under towering hardwood trees make up your exterior.
Welcome to the Leelanau Peninsula, where Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City combine to deliver Michigan's Top vacation and retirement destination. Once you catch your first glimpse of her Caribbean-like waters, expansive beaches, or feel the warm embrace of the many beach towns you will agree that this is truly the "Land of Delight."

5 STARS to this RV Park. One of the nicest RV parks we have ever seen. Our site was just beautiful and so spacious up against the forest. (Site #435). We felt like we were all alone. The bathrooms were immaculate.
The front office was one of the nicest we have ever run into. Ellen greeted us and was just the nicest! She was a tour guide deluxe, answering all our travel related questions for the area. Chris was extremely nice and helpful.

Now the BAD PART.

0 STARS for the food truck that they allow on the premises for evenings. Absolutely astonishingly GROSS. Somebody call the Health

RUDE groundskeeper.
The spaces are very close to each other, but it was clean and the office staff was very friendly. However, at 11:30 (check out is noon, and check in for new campers is 1) the groundskeeper in his little cart knocked on my door.. He asked, "are you getting ready to leave? I have someone here in the park waiting for your space". I was appalled! I had everything picked up except my electric chord and was inside getting ready to put in my slide. I said "Yes, I'm working on it" He said.. Well, I didn't see any activity out here. when I asked "wasn't check out noon?" He just grinned

Not a resort as in the title. The only resort part is fenced off and gated to keep the RV park folks out of their Phase 2 area. Not sure if it is membership only but no explanation offered. Also resorts do not normally have $0.25 pay showers!
The RV park is well laid out with incredibly clean shower/restrooms. These are the most well maintained that I have seen in a long time. Staff seemed well trained and friendly. Lots of shade in this very wooded facility. Food truck was a very nice addition.
The campsites are just average with a lot of mud and no stone or grass for some. Some had a small

This park is really nice. They have a playground, food trucks, and a pool. But it rained and some of the campsites have a tendency to flood. Our site, unfortunately, was one of them. We had to break down camp in 4" of standing water while the campsites around us were dry! Not sure if they could even fix this but it was a miserable experience, thus 4 stars.

I think the term “resort” gets thrown around a lot, maybe half of the place is a resort & the other half isn’t? No one explains why one part is gated and the other isn’t. Didn’t stay in the gated area. Must be for the megabucks tour bus diesel pushers only. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Wish I knew, because if it would’ve been more quiet on the gated side, I would stay over there & probably would’ve enjoyed it more.
This place may be good for families but might not be so good for the campers without kids as I found it to be very noisy. I’m glad the kids have fun, but if you’re looking for

Great facility. Convenience items available. Clean. Semi-quiet. Would visit again. Make sure you take quarters if you plan to use the shower because it's $0.25 for 3-5 mins. No change machine on site so get change from office before closing or bring it with you. It would be nice to be told this upon check-in.

Clean, friendly and wonderful campground! Staff helped us back in to our large and spacious site. Shower houses, pool and grounds were well cared for and clean. Food trucks were an awesome addition that came in handy. Location was nice and conveniently located. We biked through the resort side, and while it was nice it was less shaded. We prefer trees and enjoyed our site on the park side. We will definitely be back.

Really nice park for full hookups like us. We were in the campground section with cement patio. Good spacing between sites, the staff works really hard to accommodate guests and keeps the place clean. Ladies at check in were a pleasure. Very kid friendly. Fellow campers were all respectable to one another. Didn’t really use the showers or pool but both looked nice and well kept. Very close to Sleeping Bear dunes, beautiful Glen Lake and all the quaint towns in the area. I would definitely recommend this place.
The Class A/5th wheel area is pretty posh with stamped concrete pads and nice landscaping

Very nice campground and well kept grounds with super clean bathhouse. Our camp neighbors were allowing their dog to run off leash and was charging every person who walked by. Management was informed and appropriate action was taken. We had a very nice experience.

This was our second visit visit to Indigo Bluffs, though our first was some time ago and I believe it was under different ownership then. This is a very nice campground and though it was mostly filled with large RV's, there were some campers (like us) with small units. The staff was very accomodating. When our EZ Up canopy collapsed after a heavy rain, two staff members stood in the rain with us trying to figure out a way to salvage it. There were two food trucks in the park - what a nice touch! We only had the opportunity to try one of them. It was delicious! There is a cherry orchard nearby

We have stayed at this campground twice now and we really enjoyed it. It is a really nice campground; both the environment and the people. New to us this year was a food truck on location. When we got in Friday night, I didn't feel like cooking....I was impressed how good the food was. We recommend this campground to anyone staying in that area.

Great campground! We were only here 2 nights. We used the pool and laundry. Both were great. Staff was friendly.
The ONLY negative thing I could possibly say is there seemed to be a lot of mosquitoes. Maybe it was the area or abnormally wet weather? Would not deter me from a visit ever again. Great place for sure!

Great location too many activities and areas. Traverse City is only 20 mins away.
Stayed there October 5-10th. Trees in the campground were at peak color which added to our experience.
Will stay here again.

Just an average campground, but overpriced. They can get it because of the area, but really, this is just a campground, not a resort. The site we had was nice, spacious and treed. The pool is just an average campground pool. The staff was helpful and polite, The grounds are well kept. There is a resort side to the campground with paved sites and better landscaping, and it's far costlier than the campground side, which as I've said is overpriced.

Great campground- so close to so many activities and beautiful areas (Sleeping Bear, Pierce Stocking Drive, Dune Climb, Glen Arbor/Glen Lake). Very nice facilities and variety of sites (full sun, partial shade, full shade). There is a separate gated area for the big rigs that is paved, has concrete pads and manicured landscape. Indigo Bluffs also has a few cottages for rent. Something for everyone. Pool is nice, bathrooms are clean, children's park is a bit barren and outdated. We loved it and look forward to returning.

I wish there were more than five stars to give this place. We loved every minute we were here. The people: wow amazing customer service and make you feel welcome right from the minute you drive up. Office is super clean, nice, has the necessities you need. They deliver firewood ($6 a bundle). The pool and surroundings are beautiful. Well manicured landscape and just a great, relaxing place. The campsites are well maintained. They do a good job with tall, thin trees between the sites that give you enough privacy and provide some shade. Sites are crushed rock and some have cement slabs. Easy to level

We stayed a week here and was 6 Miles away from empire beach! Cute little beach that has both fishing and beach! It has 2 sides the RV resort & the campgrounds. The campground sites are small but the resort side is large. The playground is dated. The bathrooms are a dated but typical for a campground. The pool is nice, it has a laundry facilities.

We are finishing our second stay here and love it. This park is beautiful and attracts a very courteous/polite group of campers (it seems expected). We have been to many campgrounds and this is one of the best. We hope to spend a lot of time here in the days ahead.

Excellent RV Park. Top notch. Probably the best we've ever been to. The park itself has such a nice vibe and ambiance. Very clean, well maintained, and has great amenities. On top of that, the staff is incredibly nice and super helpful. All around just a great place to be. We've stayed at luxury RV parks for double the price, and it just wasn't as pleasant. Oh and it's minutes away from sleeping bear dunes and pyramid point.

Love you indigo bluffs!

We had a pull through site across from the hill to the playground and found it very convenient. Little touches like delivering fire wood and picking up trash are fantastic. The pool area is very nice, but a bit small for the number of sites. It gets very crowded. The showers are coin operated, but that is the case in most area campgrounds. 25 cents gets you 3-4 minutes. The bathrooms were clean, but again too small. There are 3 spread throughout the sites but only 2 shower stalls in each so there can be lines during peak hours. The location is central to a lot of activities and we would definitely

We moved here after staying the first two nights at the State Park in Traverse City. The state park site was too small to accommodate our trailer even though they said it was. So we found this place on our way to Glen Arbor. It has grass! Larger and more spaced sites. Clean bathrooms. Golf Course across the street. Very convenient. Pool!

They should develop it a bit more and get rid of the toilet paper bars in the restrooms that only allow you to take one or two squares at once. That is silly. Overall nice little place and we will be back!
