A penalty may be imposed if you withdraw any of the principal before the maturity date, which could reduce earnings. For all accounts, the amount of early withdrawal penalty for your account is 90 days dividends. The penalty is calculated as a forfeiture of part of the dividends that have been or would be earned on the account.

I would love to give this establishment a higher rating because the ladies who work there are really awesome. They are helpful beyond belief, but I had an absolutely terrible experience with the CEO today that I cannot believe happened. CICFU is a small credit union and they offer good programs, but with their declining membership over the last few years (yes, I have attended members meetings the past two years) one would think there would be better customer service, especially from someone who runs the organization.
